Look, I know it's most likely ignorance since I've never truly been in touch with Vocaloid as a whole, but what the fuck is up with Miku and Teto topping the metaphorical charts here, either as a pairing or solo?

Yes I understand Miku will most likely always be the most popular Vocaloid, especially to newbies, but seriously, it all just looks and sounds like Mesmerizer after Mesmerizer, even down to the tuning and melodies they choose (because it seems that a specific few of the same Vocaloid producers have been dominanting playlists since 2025).
And of course with Osiris Dance they sound annoyingly childish.

I keep seeing critiques saying Osiris Dance means nothing... But I thought it was about the cycle of awareness, suppression, and forced coping in a world that normalizes harm. (Every time I want to cry > the idiot appears).
That's why it uses Osiris, because Osiris is the god of death, rebirth, and judgement, and the story of Osiris I know, is that he was murdered out of jealousy, and even after putting his parts together, he still couldn't go back to the world of the living, so it made sense to me as a symbolism of unjust suffering.
Wishy-washy, painless killing while the symbol is painting nails seemed to point to polishing injustice and harm.
The dolphin and nyannyan part looked like a clear comparison to how humans are forced to act like something they are not.
But maybe that's just me... For now the animation I was making is on pause for other reasons.
Honestly, it’s almost fitting if a song about language breaking down and people dressing up unfairness gets criticized for being a meaningless mess.
