Osculatingborderline is an exclusive terminology for users with borderline personality disorder (BPD) where one feels their labels (sense of identity) 'disintegrate' (does not apply to them as permanent labels, or labels that last a month or more) causing them to fluctuate and attempt to find more labels to fill the inevitable void until one finds a favorite person (FP) again, which causes the identity to spike and be solid suddenly like a chemical reaction. The identity then 'solidifies' to be permanent, and their identity either slightly or fully changes to their favorite person's presence and continues to remain unchanging.
The half-dull, fading yet colorful colors (top half) of the flag symbolize a fading, unstable, non-permanent, and yet general sense of identity (loss) in contrast to bold, dark, and yet vibrant colors (bottom half) to symbolize a stable identity, both representing symptoms of borderline personality disorder.
The heartbeat line intertwined with the borderline personality disorder symbol in the center of the flag symbolizes the fluctuation of identity and emotions correlated to having a favorite person when having borderline personality disorder.
The flag's design is based on the original borderline personality disorder awareness flag structure. The symbol originated from Pinterest edited to include the gray hand of Eris (referring to the Greek goddess of discord).
