Pomander Cleanser
Make a pomander from a lime fruit.
Pierce it with holes and stick cloves in each hole.
Roll the pierced fruit in powdered orris root and cinnamon.
Tie it with red and black ribbons and hang it strategically to absorb negativity and purify the aura.
Replace with a new one when the scent fades.
[Pomander examples can be found here.]

Soap: Fit the Tenth (The Poor Decisions Are Unending)
So remember that time. When I thought it was a good idea. To try and make a new soap in the later hours of my evening. Got that in mind? Good. Cool. I MADE POOR DECISIONS AGAIN. 10:49 PM, May 25, 2023live from the workshop Figure 1. Oh god, oh no. I’m adding orrisroot this time, to increase the suds and hopefully solidify it without salt, bUT OH GOD. 11:09 PM …here’s the thing. The labdanum…
Love Drawing Oil
Essential oil of lavender or the dried, ground blossoms
Essential oil of jasmine or dried flowers
Rose attar or dried rose petals
If using dried botanicals, blend them and grind into a fine powder.
Cover them with sweet almond oil.
Essential oils should be added drop by drop to the sweet almond oil, until the desired intensity of fragrance is achieved.
Add an orris root to the bottle.

Sorry for the crappy pic. I often end up gardening at night - in this case, unburying my iris germanica that was mulched a little too exuberantly. Possibly by a chicken who seems to have it in for my pansies a few feet away and who will scratch up surprising amounts of dirt and leaf litter in her quest to murder the hell out of them. #iris #irisgermanica #orrisroot #queenelizabethroot #bayouhoodoo #bayouhoodooherbal #bigluckyhoodoo #rootworkersofinstagram #swampconjure #witchgarden https://www.instagram.com/p/CcCMbQYLn_w/?utm_medium=tumblr
