This British Quad for #BlueVelvet (1986) is one of our favorite new acquisitions, and it's arguably the best poster for the film. There's no distracting review text (as with the American 1 Sheets), it's not as unsettling as the Italian posters and it's far more elegant than the Polish design. The image of #IsabellaRossellini and #KyleMacLachlan is sensual and sexy, but the angle, pose and Chiaroscuro effect of shadows and light evoke the film's mystery and danger. #DavidLynch #originalfilmposter #vintagemovieposter
