Look! I got an original idea! Someone check for the other signs of the apocalypse, because this is nuts. I've been trying to do something like this for years!
Anyway, this creature is called a Magic. In this world magic isn't a tool, its a creature. More like a species actually. Magics are responsible for things in life that we call normal, like giving life to fertilized embryos and taking life from creatures on their deathbeds. Less powerful ones can only control things like luck and karma, and an average Magic can control things like the placebo effect. You can tell how powerful they are by how many colors they have, this one is just below average. Life and death Magics are rainbows.
This is all I've got so far, but its a start and its the most progress I've gotten on an original theme ever
