💕 Hello my Lovely Love's 💕

Just as a quick little note for those who don't know, I'll be offline for just a small lil' blip from July 13th to July 15/16th (ish) because I'm going in for surgery <333

I wanted to say something just in case anyone messages or tags me in anything and I don't respond!!

I promise, I love you with all my heart and soul, I'm just in recovery 🤣

For anyone who is interested in what's going on in my life—I'm an open book! I've left some answers done below the cut for you should you like to read them. Just be warned, the contents may be triggering as it involves women's health issues 💕

For those who know me, you'll know that I'm extremely passionate about women's health which is why I'm sharing what I'm going through. The more awareness, the better 🫶

1. We know Lily got into a wee bit of trouble in her younger years 🤭was there any particular incident she was actually proud of?

One thing we all know about Lily is that she rescues beasts from poacher camps as often as she possibly can. We also know that her magical abilities first appeared when she was saving an elderly injured cat from some very nasty young boys at her school, so… I’m sure it would not surprise you that at 13, Lily Quinn was responsible for releasing five village dogs that had been impounded after her friend's dog went missing. As it happens, those dogs were doing no harm, they were just taken because of a particularly grumpy—and unfortunately wealthy—old woman, who complained that they were “disturbing the peace and tranquility of the village.”

They were not.

2. If Lily and Seb had a different meet-cute from canon, what would it be?💞

Elizabeth Quinn's Birthday

A Short Quillow Story (Elizabeth Quinn x Sebastian Sallow)

Sunday July 5th, 1891, Castle Combe, England.

            “Lily, darling,” William called, opening their kitchen window for a small tawny owl, “you have another letter.”

            “Another?” Elizabeth asked eagerly, rising from her seat despite her mother’s hands still being in her hair.

            “Ack—Lily!”

The braid that was about to be finished slipped through Áine’s fingers.

            “Were you not expecting another?” William handed Elizabeth the envelope with one eyebrow quirked.

            “I was not, no,” she said.

            “I certainly wasn’t.” Áine stepped in with her hands on her hips.

The Irish lilt in Áine’s voice was always stronger when she did that.

It made Elizabeth laugh.

            “How many is that now?” Áine stepped closer, gathering the loose strands once more. “One from those nice boys Ominis and Quin, another from Garreth, Poppy, and Natty—”

William stepped in with a handful of other letters.

            “Ah,” Áine smirked, “and Aliria, and Lenora, Lottie, and Edward, and—”

            “Alright, alright,”  Elizabeth laughed, “yes, I have made a great deal of very wonderful friends.”

            “And here we were worrying you’d want to come home this year.” William smiled warmly, shaking his head.

Elizabeth smiled with them, looking down when she noticed something different about this letter.

Her brow furrowed.

No address, just blank save for her name. 

How curious…

Seeing her expression, Áine waved her off with a chuckle. “Go on.”

Elizabeth smiled back—though it didn’t quite reach her eyes this time.

She jogged up the stairs to her bedroom, throwing herself onto her bed.

Slowly, she slipped her finger under the envelope, tearing it open with a restraint unknown to her.

But when she unfolded the letter, the world seemed to stop for just one moment.

Elizabeth held the letter close to her chest.

She hadn't been expecting this letter...

But it certainly did make her feel better after the heartache—the uncertainty.

It gave her hope that he was safe. That in his search for Anne, he found somewhere comfortable to rest.

But oh...

The wonderful, amazing, funny af, gorgeous, talented @rvchelking and I were discussing (briefly, mind you) my re-write/re-release of my fic Twisted Revenge (coming back soon) and she sent me this masterpiece.

If this isn't a good advertisement for the angst and darkness awaiting you, I don't know what is.

Heyo!! So... it is official!

My first WIP long-fic 'Twisted Revenge' (which I scrubbed from my profile) is coming back... eventually.

For those of you who read it, you know it's quite dark (and nsfw), but you also know... it wasn't very well written 😅

So, because of this, I am doing a full re-write. (As well as re-writing the earlier chapters of 'When You See Me' and writing the new chapters.)

Obviously this will take time, and I am quite adamant that I need beta-readers for every chapter 🤣 but I did want to assure those who did care about that fic that it is coming back.

The draft Chapter 1 is officially finished and will be released to beta-readers (should they have time and want to—of course) very soon!
