Updates from the doll that’s so very verrryyy WIP.
I haven't update with Neb in so long, argh! I got his eyes set, finally, and his eyelids on! Just gotta wait for them to harden a bit, then I can work in them more. Oh, also changed the poor guy's nose again xD He looks so much better in person. My camera distorts his shapes a bit :/ Ugh...I still have to work on his body too. I've got the torso and chest piece pretty much finished, just gotta finish the backs and smooth them out, but his arms and legs need finishing too. Any critique?? Please tell me what you honestly think! If anything could look better, please make it known to me. It helps me as a sculptor get better.
Oromar is almost done ❤️ this has to be one of the darkest faceups I've done. All I have left to do is finish up his scar and seal his lips and teeth! Oromar is a gothicangelBJD Cain, sculpted by @myrretah Thanks for looking!
I forgot to post updates on Neb! I finally set some eyes for him, and now I'm working on his eyelids :D What do you guys truly think if the eye shape?

Teaser for his new nose and eye shape 😘
artist advice?
I have hand crafted an original bjd from head to toe over the course of three months for a juried art contest. She was not molded or casted because of that reason. However, I have painted her and added extra details than those of a ‘regular’ bjd (she is themed, so her sculpt has details beyond the traditional human figure), therefore she does not serve the purpose of a traditional bjd (correct me if I’m wrong) as in being customizable. (Also, I lost my stupid measuring tape and don’t have a way to give you specific dimensions but to give you an idea; she’s the lenght of the longer side of a regular sized laptop screen) She’s just—to be displayed at a gallery, in a way. I’m new to getting my art on public display—I’m still young lol, been on couple galleries already. My problem is that when my piece is submitted to this contest, I am obligated to prize it in case a collector wants to buy it. I have no idea how or what to prize her?? I certainly don’t want to make a bad impression with a crazy value but of course I do not want to undervalue myself (I know my work is beautiful—not tryna brag lol). I’d really like to give you a more solid idea of what I’m describing but rules are I cannot put it on social media until the day of the contest. Got any advice? :)
Long time no sculpt!!!
I had some time to work on this girl today. I’m feeling inspired and like I know what I want to do finally! Double knees and thighs are really inportant to me for this sculpt, so it will be a bit of a challenge!
