So there's like definitely a universe where wade doesn't reach out to him, or kicks him out of their apartment when hes still snappy from having just left Stryker, or Stryker just thinks hes used him up and abandons him, or Stryker dies from being old, or something else that just leaves him alone by himself with no support. Where he never gets to realize he's a woman or that what happened to him was wrong. Maybe he does still make himself a life though, tries for that stereotypical happy white picket fence life but never feels right once he gets it

Maybe his wife's nice though and it's not a clay and blobertta situation. I think they could be cute theoretically. They'd only start actually getting close and opening up to each other after a few years of marriage, maybe she brings up that they should have kids soon but Murphy says he thinks he'd be a bad dad and it starts them getting close and emotionally vulnerable with each other.
