I had heard the hauntingly beautiful Andante from Bach’s Organ Sonata No. 4 in E Minor (BWV 528) before, played by Vikingur Olafsson here in a moving modern version. But hearing the pedal clavichord played with such clarity by Balint Karosi has astonished me, along with the clarity and beauty of this work in full. Highly recommended!
