Atlas the Nudibranch Dragon
This is Atlas, the shepherd of souls lost at sea. He has been sighted near shipwrecks, guiding the perished crews gently to the afterlife.
He's based on the colors of Hypselodoris ruthae, with the physical features more inspired by an Orange Godiva. The dragon part isn't based off of anything in particular, but I did try and make his body shape more suited to underwater living, with tiny limbs to give him a more serpentine shape, a paddle-like tail, and wings adapted to swimming instead of flight.

Some anatomy and facial control practice. I'm still struggling with detailed weight painting so a few expressions cause some weird creases, but the fur particles hide it well enough!
First time trying out both a display tablet and clip studio paint. I’m very pleased with the workflow of both!
