Blossoming is a blessing

Have you ever been lost inside of a building that you just start to panic? Well, today, I was exactly in that situation. I accompanied my mom to a local hospital to inquire about something. Since we are in the middle of a pandemic, hospitals are stricter than they used to be. Upon arrival, we went up to this ramp that leads to the lobby, but the security guard told us to go down to the basement for inquires since they are keeping things separate now, and so we did. My mom and I went down on that ramp to go to the hospital’s basement. In the basement, they had this whole help desk set up. We told them what we came for and what we need. The lady behind the help desk then told us to go up to their information desk, lead us to the stairs, and give us directions. When we got what we needed at the information desk, everything was smooth and fine. Until we had to exit, now it would be easy, right? We would just go back to where we entered quickly. But that wasn’t the case when we tried to go down the same stairs we were told to take the other way out. But this time they gave no instructions so I went with my instincts and followed the green glowy sign that says ‘’Exit’’ when we got to the bottom of the stairs the door was slightly closed. I panicked and thought that I may have to lead us to the wrong way at this moment I was already panicking there was no sign in the door that it was the exit. There were no people around us, so I couldn’t ask for directions. I thought of 2 possible outcomes when I do push that door 1, it is the exit, and 2, it is not an exit; instead, it is a storage room or a breakroom for the janitors. If it’s scenario one, then that would be great, but if it’s scenario number two, it would be slightly embarrassing but also great since I can just ask the janitors for directions. I never thought that getting lost inside a hospital would make me realize a great life lesson. In life, there will come a time when you will feel like you’re lost and will only be left with 2 solutions. One Is your ideal solution, and the other is the one you wish you would never have to take. You will never know which one to take if you don’t open doors. You can either open it and see that you were right after all and there was nothing to worry about. Or you could be wrong, but at least now you know where to go, either way, both path is an adventure and is better than just staying still. When I pushed that door open, it turns out I was right to follow the signs. So which doors will you be opening today?
