Okay but Shanks going for a walk at Foosha, and Luffy following him because he knows Shanks will be leaving soon, and he needs snacks so Makino also goes after them with a basket full of food.
And suddenly they are having a picnic outside of the village, near a cliff as they watch the sun set behind the sea.
And Luffy and Shanks are banting with each other and Makino is laughing at them.
Soon enough Luffy is sleepy and clinging on Shanks' back and when he looks up Makino is looking at them with adoration.
And for a moment, Shanks allows himself to dream they are his family, and he can stay in Foosha and raise Luffy and make Makino smile like this every day.
And they don't say a word, but they go back to the bar holding hands, with a snoring Luffy on his back, and both of them go put Luffy to sleep and give him a kiss goodnight.
