today I have developed two new headcanons about Rhal: 1. He struggles looking at himself in the mirror and avoids doing it as much as possible because of traumatic events that transpired on the Zariman involving his reflection and identity. 2. Post-cryo, he turns to documenting his memories and his life as a way to not only process and organize his thoughts, but also to provide a reliable primary source of Orokin and Tenno history. His memories are mostly in tact, but some events are kinda hazy of course, so the accuracy varies. He sometimes writes it out or just speaks into a voice recorder to transcribe later on. He’s by no means a psychologist or a doctor, but he does also include observations about other Tenno he encounters. From how they adapted to life after the Empire and how their bodies and lives were affected by their exposure to the void. Everyone’s story is different, but he thinks it’s important to acknowledge the profound impact that the Zariman accident and Tenno conditioning had on the survivors.Â
All of his documentation is private and stored on his personal console, since it consists of intimate details about himself and his life, but like all history he knows someone, someday, might come across it and find it useful.
I have plenty of other ocs I adore and enjoy working with but none of them bring me the inexplicable joy Rhal does. If you also enjoy his character, thank you for being here.Â
