Culture fest OP!
1. Someone tell me what those little symbols Class 1-A is holding/posing on mean.
2. Gentle and La Brava!!! My first watch-through I didn’t recognize them there and thought the OP had left them out.
3. Holy crap that is some attention to detail! It’s barely mentioned in the manga that Eri swapped out this ugly sweater from Aizawa with her cute Culture Fest Outfit. They were reading closely.
4. Little montage of cute Class A pics. I’ll only include the Intern group and Momos.
5. YAS LOTS OF JIRO. JAM-PACK THIS OP WITH JIRO.
6. Pretty Todoroki! I don’t really get what hte meaning of this shot is, besides being like “how do we make Todoroki look as pretty as possible”, but damn if it isn’t nice.
7. Brooding Bakugou.(What’s that map thing in the upper left hand corner?)

So that’s OP7, “Star Maker”. I’m definitely excited to learn more about what the lyrics mean and to get used to it over time. I’m not sure where it ranks for me so far in BNHA OPs. It’ll probably be lower because it’s more fun and not as soft and serious as Polaris or Odd Future, but there was still a lot to love.
Also: The ED. All those photo sets of spoiler-y times in past of characters lives. The Wonder Duo brooding in bed about each other. (OTP have I mentioned?), everyone sleeping, the little Wonder Duo montage. That was awesome.

Seriously, I’m loving all the parallels they are drawing between him and Eri in the OP. I’ve been thinking about how much this arc (Remedial and Culture festival) was about him also learning to have fun.
