Yes! This is the written version exploring the timeline I created for this blog last year, starting all the way from the beginning of the timeline to present day. I'm going to try and include art within it too, but we're basically rebooting and recontextualizing what I came up with for this blog and really exploring all the characters' dynamics and changes.
Note, though: it's gonna be darker than this blog was. (I can't help it, I like to take things seriously when I write lol, exploring genuine emotion is fun.)

Traveled across the country just to see Mamaleek in Oakland and LA and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Everyone ended up knowing me as "the Massachusetts person" by the end of each night and idk if they thought the fact that I traveled over 3,000 miles to hang out in dive bars was embarrassing or cool, but I didn't care. Went to Thom's merch booth at the end of the second night and he already knew who I was.
It's really nice when your favorite band also happens to be made up of some of the kindest people and also just happen to have some of the coolest and sweetest fans. Their bassist gave me a special gift and may have adopted me? And I mentally blacked out several times while screaming along. Definitely one of the most cathartic and fun experiences I've had.
