The plot thickens 🤩 excuse me while I lose my tits 🕺
Oh hey~
I was wondering about these guys for the longest time.
Calling it now, Lucci was the one who killed Cobra, this man has immense ammounts of bloodlust and Vivi is just fully sassing him, while he’s being forced to protect her, i know he doesn’t like that shit, but he cant kill her, but if he’s able to pin it on sabo? this man is taking the kill, i know it
the fact that we even have to consider that shanks has an evil twin brother is very funny to me

Some random thoughts about the latest chapters. I know it's a bit late for 1083 but still... I'm also adding some thoughts about 1084 as well.
Fujitora is amazing with his meteors. I mean his powers are so strong and destructive in the same time. But he can't use it like he wants. He might destroy many lives around.
He uses his Observation Haki to detect people around him. He can't put the difference between humans except when they got a special power like Sabo.
I also believe because there isn't any difference in strength between "average" humans and Celestials, he can't detect their presences clearly.
Yet, I guess he really doesn't care because he doesn't seem to like rotten individuals. That's why he's so fine with crushing the Revolutionaries with a meteor.
He might tell Akainu because the Commanders were so strong he had no other choice in the matter. A meteor was the only way. And yet I also believe this would also end the reign of Celestials as well.
He's the only one who can use the excuse such a power was needed to destroy those people. He can also claim killing Celestials was an accident because he can't put the difference between his soldiers and Celestials.
In 1084, we also got wonderful people.
Sai and Leo, I can say how much I love you both!
Leo is of course there for the cuteness. He somehow got the same role as Chopper in this case. He's cute but he also can be very dangerous when needed. People should think before attacking him, just like Chopper.
Sai is there as a guard of course and a representant of his own family. He does perform a good job at keeping people safe and alive there. He doesn't hesitate to assault people when needed whoever they are.
I admit I just wanted Leo to destroy Charlos. He's someone from another specie. He's not a human you see. But I guess a special task force was needed to crush Charlos for once.
The combination of their strengths was amazing. It's a good display of team work! Luffy, keep looking at people like this! We need more of them in the world!
Of course Charlos was crushed by two powerful individuals. I'm just disappointed he wasn't sent into a deeper hole than Big Mom and Kaido, but that just me. I guess he's to weak for the effort.
Last but not least in my list...
Bonney...
She is cute and awesome in the same time. She knows everyone in the Revolutionary Army. She even kees tabs about them. She seemed like a fangirl who gathers lots of intel about her favorite people.
My personal silly thought was she collects all the goodies sold by the Revolutionary Army in a similar fashion from Barto. But I guess they aren't the type to do such an advertisment.
She does trust Sabo directly because of that. She knows how dangerous he can be. She even calls him a radicalised revolutionary. I feel she's going to tell Luffy how much he resembles Sabo.
For a dangerous pirate, Luffy is indeed very cheerful and doesn't seem to mind what's happening to him. It's so nice to see Sabo giving intel to people he trusts. He knows the difference between people.
Besides, I have to add I am a bit jealous of Bonney, she's got to be carried like a princess by Sabo! Such a lucky girl!!!
One Piece Manga 1083 Spoilers
so... i am in the “IT’S NOT SHANKS” camp right now.
It is someone adjacent to him, like his Dad or Bro.
If Shanks is a God Knight, it would’ve happened AFTER Roger’s execution, Shanks was approached by his blood family and he basically went ‘fuck you’ to Roger’s legacy. So... I highly doubt it is him.
He may have been approached by his family tho. His “father” (the god knight) thought he was dead after God Valley because they couldn’t find him. It would’ve been YEARS later before they realized “O FUCK THAT KID WITH ROGER IS MY BOI!!!” So once Roger was out of the picture, they extended an invitation to Shanks and tried to “schmooze” him to their ways.
On a tangent thought:
Dragon’s plan was to wait for the God Knights to be on the move before setting events into motion.
What if... in trying to provoke the God Knights to make their move... Rocks attacked God Valley? God Valley was where several of the Knights’ families use to live. But, instead of mobilizing the Knights, Imu keeping them on Marigouse, The Marines were sent to take care of it instead... They then evacuated the island, and had it removed from the map.
This mistake was something Dragon didn’t want to repeat, and why his plan took so long.
Unironically, these are my favorite panels in this chapter. When was the last time you saw a shounen manga in which the heroes target enemy supply lines? I’m not an expert, but I bet it doesn’t happen very often, simply because the whole genre is more focused on the fighting part and less on the strategy part. Understandable, considering the target audience, but still makes these panels very interesting to me.
Like, this is not only Battle Strategy 101, this is legitimately, in-universe and in this particular situation, the best possible course of action RA can take. Mary Geoise, whatever else can be said about it, is actually a very difficult target. Blitz attacks are hard, but possible. But legitimate, full-on frontal assault and siege? Impossible with current RA resources and Navy situation. Sure, they might be able to put a strain on the Holy Land itself, but then they would also face the supply line issue – it’s not like it would be easier to ship resources to Red Line for RA than for the government – and let’s not forget that the Navy Headquarters are right there. At this point in time, there is no way for the Revolutionaries to win in a fair fight on the Celestial Dragons’ turf.
But this doesn’t have to be a fair fight. Sabo and the rest destroyed their food reserves. The Army itself is raiding the supply ships. The revolts in WG countries mean even less tribute ships will sail towards Mary Geoise. Possibly, all of this won’t have an immediate effect and the people in the Holy City could survive with limited supplies and rationing. But does anyone really think the Celestial Dragons would accept that? That they would be calm about this? That any actual food would be left for their servants and soldiers and guards? This is, honestly, such a good move on RA’s part. It’s much easier to fight an enemy that is starving, angry and riddled with internal issues.
Also, I do appreciate the narrative irony of putting these panels right after the chapter in which a man killed someone just to get his family fed, because the WG left his whole island to starve. It pleases me.
