Sure, I might be a Catholic who's a regular church goer but beyond that, I don't see myself attending novenas and high masses, doing processions, and the like. I do, however, strongly believe that there is a being way above us - there is someone who watches over us, someone who protects us, someone who guides us…

I came upon the above passage in one of my random internet surfs and I deemed it rather satisfying. That all the hurt you've gone through is nothing against the joy that's coming for you. It's a wonderful thing to hold on to - especially to those people who are in the darkest corners of their lives now. To those who are going through heartbreaks (of whatever kind), those who are suffering from losses, those who are in whatever physical and/or emotional pain. Maybe when we come out of our tribulations stronger, better, and wiser; no simple obstacle can get us down anymore. We cannot be defeated.
