The sky green and white, dark and bright

The weak glow of lanterns

Snuffed out by wind and wet

Him: I am bummed as I don't have a bondage fetish (never even tried it) sometimes a joke is just a joke my friend. As for the spanking it was a natural joke when you were like "don't be my dad" I have a very sarcastic sense of humor, sorry about that.

Me:Dude, you brought up bondage like every message after that! Duct tape, spanking, handcuffs, probation? Maybe you didn't mean to, but you really did turn the conversation. (Also, spanking is like the last association I have with my dad, so there's that.)

I get that sometimes tone doesn't come across online, but, well, sometimes tone doesn't come across online! We clearly have a misunderstanding here, but believe me when I tell you that the pattern there didn't seem like just a joke - it seemed like you were trying to steer the conversation in a jokey way down a very specific lane, no matter how little I responded to that thread of the conversation. (Again, I should have said something earlier, which is totally on me.)
