Ok I will definitely ask them thanks anyway. Absolute fav dramione is called isolation by bex-chan. It's still being written but its very close to being done. It's the style where they start out disliking each and eventually fall in love which makes me *squee lol
THAT IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE DRAMIONE FIC TOO!
I absolutely adore it. Bex get’s Draco so on point, from the unwillingness to open up to him being such an arsehole most of the time to him struggling with his feelings for Hermione! (Plus, I love how he still calls her “Granger", but it’s no longer in a taunting or mean way. It’s just what he’s used to and I think he only really calls her “Hermione" like…once or twice in the fic in REALLY important scenes. And I love that because you know he’s being entirely serious.
Argh I could go on forever on Draco and how beautifully Bex portrays him. She makes Dramione SO realistic in the situation that she came up with. Bloody hell, it’s amazing. I want to re-read it (for the third time heh heh).
NOT TO MENTION…she gets Hermione so perfect, too. From her anger at Draco in the beginning (and just in general) to how she struggles with her feelings to her willingness to see the good in people, even people like Draco, as well as not putting up with his bullshit.
One of my favorite scenes is where they’re talking (or fighting) in her common room and he starts insulting Harry and Ron and she gets all defensive. AHHH I LOVE THAT SCENE SO MUCH IT JUST krtgjnkjrtg
I also love how she made Draco finally admit his love for Hermione. You can feel his pain when she leaves for the second (and first) time, too. I just srktgjnkrtgj. Imagine if Hermione dies. The one person that makes his life worth living anymore is dead, after all his attempts to make her stop fighting in the war with him. I CAN’T DEAL WITH THE FEELS.
I’ve cried so much with that fic. URGH I CAN’T DEAL.
I also love Draco’s relationship with Theo and Blaise, AS WELL AS THEO’S RELATIONSHIP WITH TEDDY. OH GOD WHEN TEDDY DIED YOU KNEW THEO CARED BUT KERJGENKGJ *sobs*
krtgbntrg okay I’m done. I need to re-read that (as well as my two other favorites: The Fallout and A Pound of Flesh)
