OnS Theories - Demon Mikaela. The Opposite of Demons
Something rather cute I spotted in the latest chapter admist all the chaos it had, thus I hope you enjoy reading this
Cause of death #5
Kureto kissing Aoi
OnS Theories (20S). Fifth Theory - Fake God (Long Theory)
Hello everyone, I hope you’ve been doing well, we have a whole month to wait up for the release of next chapter and of course, more theories as we wait up for new chapter, you might wonder what this title refers to, but well, for that, let’s proceed!
P.S: Theories are held within a neutral view and ships are excluded This theory is a follow up of these two titles:
OnS Theories (17S). Third Theory - Shikama’s punishment, and the reason behind the corpse (Long Theory) OnS Theories (20S). Fourth Theory - Apostles and Demons
First of all, many might be aware that within the story, there’s a being that has been playing the role of God, who do I mean?
Correct. Shikama Doji no less. He even created his own apostles:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 102
Within this, it is recquired to state that, thanks to the World Resurrection LNs, Vol. 2; Rigr Stafford better known as Saito, told Guren that the First Progenitor, his sire, was the one that decided which empires and religions would rise and fall, just as if he were God.
But why does this theory state or talks about a Fake God?
If many might have notice, Shikama Doji has the power to mesmerize and make sure those around him end up following his commands:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 74
In said chapter, Asuramaru wasn’t under the control of the First Progenitor, along the fact that he didn’t have his memories back, hence why he warned Yu that the demon in front of them was dangerous and to be wary of him.
But, is there actual proof that Shikama Doji has such power?
There is, and the best answer to this relies on the black demon series along the Vampire Progenitors:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 76
Despite the long time the Progenitors saw for one last time their sire, they still clinged to him even if they acknowledged the First wasn’t interested on them, even if he never paid attention to them nor treasured them in any instance just like Urd stated in said chapter.
But despite them knowing that the First did not respect them, they clinged to a small hope to talk with him again, to see him and ask him directly what it’s exactly happening.
Even they accepted the laws the First Progenitor stablished once the Vampire Council was made, which is something heavily displayed in this panel:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 68
In said panel Krul was being accused of being a traitor on which Urd retords about how they’ve sticked to old laws made by the First Progenitor, giving an insight that they’ve been loyal to what he left despite the centuries that passed away with time.
But now that we have reached the point on which the First has literally marvelled those who decided to follow him in darkness, let’s talk about why he’s a Fake God.
First of all, let’s retake the insight of the chose of apostles.
Regarding religion and depending on which one, the term apostle was mostly used to refer to those who served and followed God’s will or those who served to spread God’s will; but in the case of the story, Shikama selected few among all those he sired in order to execute his plans without the interruption of other that might oppose to him, and as to the reason why is due to the fact that despite the other Progenitors treasuring the time the First left a mark on them for the change of lifestyle they got, they do not seek the end of the World nor seek the disappearance of humankind which is why the First Progenitor only made a selection of his chosen ones to carry on their duty.
(If interested, you may read the theory talking about apostles and demons //v// they’re linked or depend of each other in certain way: OnS Theories (20S). Fourth Theory - Apostles and Demons)
Nevertheless, why do I speak of Shikama as a Fake God?
It is to say that Shikama is described as a beautiful demon, but of course, only one being created by God held such regards, who do I mean?
Correct. None less than Lucifer. But, is there a proof to this?
There is but before, that let’s talk about something before such proof is presented:
Shikama is often seen as a beautiful demon with angelical wings and of course, like any demon, they have a shadow; such shadow takes the shape of the demon without them having the need to introduce or talk with their wielders if they do not want to, instead, they use their own shadow to communicate with them, such thing has been reflected in these panels:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 6
If many might recall, chapter 6 was the chapter on which Yuichiro Hyakuya and Asuramaru first met and made the contract between demon and wielder, and of course, in such event of the story, Asuramaru didn’t introduce himself formally, I mean, he didn’t introduce himself physically to Yu within his heart but instead, he only used his shadow to talk with Yu and make the contract.
The next time such shadow is seen is within this chapter:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 8
In said chapter, Asuramaru tormented Yu with nightmares about the loss of his family and of course, the conversation between Yu and him didn’t take formally in his heart like it was presented in future chapters such as when Yu and Asuramaru spoke before Yu lost control in Shinjuku.
Another proof of this is with Raimeki and Kureto, after Kureto killed Tenri Hiragi, Shikama Doji appeared in front of him and of course, he targetted him in order to possess him, but of course, at such time when the demons didn’t have their memories back, Raimeki used her might to not allow Shikama to enter in Kureto’s heart:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 58
Raimeki told Kureto that her real self was fighting to protect his wielder, only sending her shadow to inform Kureto about the events that were happening at that time.
Now, you might wonder what all this have to do with Shikama Doji and precisely thanks to the Catastrophe manga adaptaton and illustrated by Asami Yo along the approval of Kagami Takaya, Shikama Doji’s shadow was presented for the first time:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose Catastrophe at 16 - Chapter 43
The huge difference between the shadows of the other demons and Shikama Doji is the fact that the other black demon series kept their appearance exactly as how they looked, BUT, in contrast with Shikama Doji, his angelical wings that were seen most of the times turned into something rather resembling to the one that Fell from Heaven, which is no else than Lucifer.
And of course, as a side point, there’s actually several famous paintings on which they portray Lucifer’s fall, some of them being the next ones:
Paradise Lost by John Milton and illustrated by Gustave Doré
It is to say that Gustave Doré illustrated several times the fall of Lucifer along the way his wings would be represented after his fall:
Paradise Lost by John Milton and illustrated by Gustave Doré
Of course, other artists have portraited him as having black feathered wings or instead keeping those wings he was proud of but with horns.
Contrasting the art from those centuries, even media such as anime and video games such as Shin Megami Tensei portray him in different ways such as:
Lucifer - Shin Megami Tensei (Note: the designs Shin Megami Tensei takes differ between games due to different artists participating in the development of said titles)
But once again, after it is clear that his background is influenced by the Fallen Angel, why do I state or why does the theory states “Fake God”?
It is well known thanks to films, anime, tv shows, etc. that the Devil is often portrayed as someone that will return within the awakening of the antichrist, and of course, it is said that the anticrhist will made some fall and believe in him as if he were God himself, the saviour and those who doesn’t would perish; which surprisingly has quite the similitudes here with Owari no Seraph, what do I mean?
Within the manga story, Shikama Doji made sure to create vampires that would eventually follow him without them knowing what exactly he thought, they were loyal to him, but once Shikama started to see ahead of time what he seeked, he only gathered his selected ones, it is to say only few ones believed in him letting the others perish, and ironically, there’s one bold statement made by him alone:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 102
He stated he chose them to save the world from a Catastrophe but it is well known that the Catastrophe that happened in the story aka the Catastrophe at 16 was actually planned by himself, but, how can I prove this? How can I actually state he’s playing the role of the fake God?
Such statement can be seen with the demons when they’ve had their conversations with their wielders:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 20
Back in the day, Asuramaru stated that humans were frightening creatures, but of course that was at a time on which he had no memories of his former self but nevertheless, it is implied that he considered or viewed humans as dangerous for entering or delving into forbidden arts, and of course, within such thing, there have been parts within the manga on which demons have stated that humans are dangerous.
It is as if they were aware of what they could reach or rather looking at the destroyed world their wielders see, they get a perspective that it was the doing of humanity that the world came to an end, which in a way could highlight the current point of view from the demons as followers and worshippers of Shikama Doji:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 102
And that is reflected a lot in chapter 102, they have their reasons to follow up orders from Shikama Doji, it’s in general two views from the world, one that sees Shikama Doji as it is, that one of a cruel being that played with the lives of many and there’s the side of the demons, those ones loyal to him and his cause, those ones that have awareness that he is preventing something humanity can’t or rather they’d be the cause of it.
But of course, with how the story has turned, how it has displayed the merciless phases of each side (human, vampire and demon), it can be said that Shikama Doji has played the role of the Fake God, the one that would bring the downfall of everything with his followers.
What do you think dear readers?

OnS Theories (17S). Second Theory - Mahiru’s pair of horns
Hello everyone, I’m sure you’d be wondering why I labeled this as a second theory when I shared one yesterday...the issue is...It wasn’t as satisfying as I thought so I’ll develop it much better without making it be so confusing, therefore, let’s talk about something rather curious, shall we?
P.S: Theories don’t involve ships. Theories are held within a neutral view
First of all, this theory isn’t focused on what Mahiru in terms of what she’s done but rather, on something that was dismissed:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 92
Correct. It is well known that demons that are tied to a weapon have their notable differences between male and female demons. What do I mean?
It has been clear that male demons have a pair of horns which can be heavily seen with:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 98
Asuramaru, Kiseki-O, Gekkouin
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 83
Byakkomaru and of course Noya; meanwhile, for female demons which the only representation has been Raimeki:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 58
But in Raimeki’s case, it’s only visible that female demons only have a horn compared to male demons; therefore, the main question is, why does Mahiru Hiragi popped a pair of horns if she’s a female demon?
Correct. Mahiru Hiragi isn’t a demon and that’s been stated by Byakkomaru himself:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 54
Back then, Byakkomaru managed to see Mahiru Hiragi for the first time and within this, he stated she was no demon; therefore this leads to some questions such as:
What exactly did Mahiru do in order to avoid becoming a demon but, at the same time being able to manifest as one?
Why is the reason of her pair of horns?
For the first question, it is hard to state what exactly she is; since the last answer or rather evidence of what happened to her at the end of the last volume of the Catastrophe LNs was that
After she stabbed herself with Noya, Mahiru got absorbed into the cursed gear Noya resided and that was due to a curse that resided within Mahiru that only made it impossible for Noya to stop, Guren was left all alone with the corpses of his friends and Mahiru was gone; he couldn’t tell if Noya absorbed Mahiru or if Mahiru absorbed Noya but there was no doubt of the silence in there.
After such events, the First Light Novel of World Resurrection came, one of the things that came to happen was this:
After Guren awoke in a highschool classroom, he met up with Kureto, of course Kureto asked for the details; and monitored that Guren’s cursed gear was too advanced for their technology but nevertheless, they didn’t acknowledge that Mahiru was absorbed within Guren’s gear, instead they suggested it was his demon playing tricks to him.
Of course, Mahiru was able to float like a ghost while nobody could see her. Mahiru instructed him how to reply towards Kureto’s answers in order to stop the interrogation faster.
World Resurrection at 19, Vol. 1 - Friends.
After that, we get that interesting scene in the 2nd Volume on which Rigr Stafford uses a Sinful Key in order to “hide it”
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose World Resurrection at 19 Vol. 2 - Chapter I
After that, the relation between Guren and Mahiru was quite the concept of a ghost teasing Guren to no end...out of a small joke, it is true that Mahiru would tease Guren but within this, what exactly was placed in her body in order to trigger a curse in order to get absorbed?
For that, the answer is unknown to certain extend but, she was able to fully appear again with weight... (honestly Kagami seems to have quite the fascination about making jokes related towards chests), but for the meantime, let’s head to the next question. (Such topic will be further explored in another theory.
Why did Mahiru gain a pair of horns in chapter 92?
The most possible answer is that, thanks to the fact that she’s something that isn’t bound to the demon laws, I mean, as what makes a demon nor a human, and of course, taking in count that Noya was sealed again within her after she used a rather interesting drug to supress demons, it could be something similar to how a former human that accepts becoming a demon turns:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 89
Yu and Guren had a pair of horns which implies that they were gaining power from their demon without losing their own will or consciousness; of course, in Yu’s case, he returned back after Guren used a drug on him but nevertheless, in other cases he hasn’t lost his consciousness or rather, Asuramaru didn’t possess him completely.
Therefore, what could it be said about Mahiru gaining a pair of horns?
It could be said that, once Noya was K.O with said drug, Guren and Mahiru that kept half and half of Noya, ended up returning to Mahiru, allowing Guren only to keep Mahiru out while she started to return him back inside her...of course, as a reminder of how that happened:
It is a rather short theory but of course it is held within a concept of curious facts, nevertheless, about how she was able to manifest, we’ll dwell in another theory.
What do you think?
Do you think there might have been something else in order to make her grow a pair of horns?

OnS Chapter 99. Yuichiro Hyakuya/Amane - Deep Analysis
Hello everyone, I hope you’re doing alright, one of the things I’ve noticed is one of the most controvertial characters within the series and that character is Yuichiro Hyakuya, the main protagonist of the story.
Therefore, I’d like to make a deep analysis on him due to his psychology and his bevaior.
P.S: THEORIES AND ANALYSIS ARE HELD WITHIN NEUTRAL VIEW. SHIPS ARE EXCLUDED.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hi3D_PnaxT0
Yuichiro Hyakuya is well known for being the main protagonist of Vampire Reign; but of course, like any other character within the story; he has had his hardships within the past along the fact that he was something without form but rather, someone treated as an object or a synthetic human by Sika Madu.
It is well known that Yuichiro had quite the personality before he befriended Mikaela Hyakuya; he didn’t consider the Hyakuya orphanage his family until the events with Ferid Bathory changed his life:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 01
Of course, this only made Yu fear of bonding with other people; the only figure he could rely on was Guren since he was his saviour, a person that found him lost in a destroyed world; but even after Guren picked him up and trained him to defend against others; he couldn’t interact with people; Yu was left unable to make friends nor wanted to follow up orders; which eventually gave him the result of going to a school in order to bond with others; thus leading with the encounter of Shinoa Hiragi:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 02
Shinoa was tasked to keep an eye on Yu but along with this, she was also ordered to make sure Yu was able to make friends; and of course, her being an observant, she detected easily Yu’s fear which was to make friends or find the love of his life, though of course Yu wasn’t having such thoughts, his only thoughts were to avenge Mikaela and slay vampires.
Gradually, his world started to become bigger; he was able to find a new family; despite the ways he made friends; those who became important to him were Shiho Kimizuki, Yoichi Saotome, Mitsuba Sangu and Shinoa Hiragi.
He took his time to follow up orders; and that was due to the fact he aimed to be stronger, he wanted to defeat vampires to fulfill his revenge, that was his sole reason to live.
But after several chapters which could mean days within the demon army; a fateful event occured.
Correct, he was able to meet Mikaela once again; with the surprise he was alive but as a vampire. Though, the reunion didn’t go as expected since Mikaela was aware the demon army only experimented on humans; by worst Yu saw his new friends being food for vampires which made him lose control and awake his seraph until he ended up returning to normal and thus lead to a comatose state of a week.
But then, was this the factor that made him acknowledge Guren as everything?
No. At this point, Yu was happy Mikaela was alive no matter what, plus he received the support of his new family. He felt blessed; until he discovered that Guren had knowledge of previous events but despite that, he stated the next thing:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 18
Correct. Yu stated he wouldn’t mind being a Guinea Pig if it meant to bring Mika home; of course Guren dismissed such thoughts and stated they were family, and family would bring or save each other.
Despite that, time went peaceful, Yu was still impulsive and mostly when the Nagoya Arc began; he met another squad which was Narumi’s squad; they eventually worked together and supported each other until they heard Guren was caught.
This triggered Yu’s mind to the point he didn’t mind consuming pills in order to unleash his demon; of course, Asuramaru at that time halted him from doing such reckless move towards his body and instead suggested him to allow him to possess him; which only made the squad rush for him and save him; only to see Mikaela attempt to retrieve him without thinking that he was surrounded by the Demon Army.
Afterwards, they were reunited again, but something changed; what do I mean?
If many might recall, Yu went towards Nagoya’s airport with Mikaela in order to meet with his friends, but what he wasn’t expecting was to see the demon army killing humans in order to trigger the experiment of the Seraph of the End with Mirai Kimizuki.
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 40
This was the detonant as to why Yu had the mental set of seeing Guren as a good person and in fact, he’s not wrong; Yu’s aware Guren carries a big weight over his shoulders but like any other rational being, such message isn’t easy to deliver specially when the squad doesn’t know Guren like Yu does; Yu was able to see sides of Guren since he was the one that took care of him after his rescue.
But then, does this mean Yu will always be trusting Guren as if nothing happened?
At first, it seemed he understood why Guren did such thing and that was because he commited the biggest taboo which was to bring back the dead; Yu understood that his actions were out of the pain and grief and thus he didn’t mind his return nor the fact he’d use him again; thus lead to Mika get angry
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 58
Mika was the first one to tell Yu it wasn’t alright but Yu didn’t respond to that because to Yu’s possible mindset, it was that Guren endured a lot and he needed everything he could to restore the world again; such event followed suit to the preparations to face the 5th progenitor Ky Luc.
Afterwards, Yu’s heart stopped and was treated quickly but this only made Mikaela fear rage and anger towards Guren due to how he was using Yu specially after showing those two that he kept the 6th trumpet within his household:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 64
Nevertheless, Yu still supported Guren’s ideals. After stopping the 6th trumpet, the squads went to Shibuya since Kureto Hiragi called Guren; of course, he called them in order to inform he was possessed by something Godlike for the time being and his demon was fending against such monster; said events would follow suit to the possession of Shinoa Hiragi and the fracture of the squad.
Yu was kidnapped by the Hyakuya Sect along his cursed gear; Mikaela eventually found a way to escape and find Yu; Yu’s friends escaped by their own while Mitsuba tried to find them; and of course, after Guren saved Shinoa from Shikama’s possession; the battle between Yu, Mika against Guren, Mahiru and Noya began.
Such battle was intense, it only made Yu allow Asuramaru take full possession of him in order to give him power but the results of that strength weren’t enough; Yu was halted by Mahiru; Mika did the imposible to rescue him leading to his death and of course, the biggest impact on Yu’s heart came:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 90
Yu stated he wished to die; Yu’s been bearing too much pain for so long and whenever he attempted to rescue someone, he couldn’t go further which made him think he was the problem. And as surprising as it was, Asuramaru conforted him and made him recall what Mikaela told him; the fact he needed to live was what made Yu cry and see his first family, his treasured person die in front of him.
After such events, the demon Mikaela started to manifest on the real world; Krul Tepes was able to meet up with Yu and told him a way to save him but of course, they needed to find a spot where to hide for the meantime. Within this, he pleaded Krul to save Mikaela or to at least get knowledge on how to save him
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 96
This result only ended up making the Queen start asking them if they knew who the enemy of the world was, who they were fighting, what their reasons to live were; but before everything could keep going, the First Progenitor took control of Shinoa’s body which was something Krul quickly detected and luckily, Mahiru managed to supress his cells from Shinoa’s body with quite the strange drug.
After that, we saw Guren and Mahiru entering the building the squad and Krul were in leading to the eventful details of chapter 99, which were the sealing of the demon Mikaela and the most controvertial scene for the fandom:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 99
Now the real analysis begins.
Why is Yu so trustful? Why is Yu so easygoing with Guren’s actions? Or something that the fandom asks, why is Yu so dumb to not even doubt Guren in the sightlest?
WARNING: Theories and analysis aren’t focused on viewing characters in a bad light nor attacking the faves of the readers; analysis and theories are held within a neutral view and ships are excluded.
Something the fandom hasn’t noticed is Yu’s nature within the story. What do I mean?
Yu himself viewed as the character that deserved to die for bringing harm towards those who were close to him which explain why he didn’t want to make friends before meeting Mika and after Mika’s death as a human.
The fact that he eventually found support made him have a change of heart and the fact that he discovered Mika was alive gave him more reasons to fight the world he lived in; he was tired of always running away from everything that could harm him and so, he decided it’d be best to find answers; such answers would lie with the Vampire Queen.
But among this, Guren kept coming back to his life; was it bad that he did?
In a sense it wasn’t bad, because despite the harsh decisions Guren had to take in order to fight a God like entity, he did care about Yu and the squad as well;he understood the distrust they had and it was fine for him to carry such weight on his shoulder but, does this mean Yu will easily forgive Guren every time his feelings gets hurt?
The answer for this isn’t a yes or a no, but rather a why. Why is Yu forgiving towards Guren?
The answers is scary and the reason is because Yu has an overwhelming fear.
How can I state such thing?
Yu’s mentality hasn’t been stable from the very beginning; ever since the incident with his parents; he saw himself as a monster, and the fact Mahiru met him one day and saw the terrible experiments they did with Yu only made her give him an advice which was to find a reason to live even if it was a simple one. He had the right to live.
After Yu grew up and learnt the Hyakuya Sect performed experiments with kids and learnt that Guren knew such thing, he didn’t care if Guren used him, he was fine with that as long as he could provide help.
But, have you dear readers noticed such thing?
Of course. That’s the most terrifying thing Yu is afraid of. He is afraid of being alone and not being loved. He is afraid of being discarted, he is afraid that those persons around him hate him. He is afraid to be a let down to those who surround him.
Yu can’t simply discard such idea of his mind; that’s why when Mika was a half vampire, he didn’t mind if Mika drank his blood; he didn’t mind fighting and using his seraph powers or having his demon give him power if it meant doing something for the greater good.
When his most important persons were endangered or were close to dying, he’d lose it; he wouldn’t even know what to do, he begged God or anyone to save them. But whenever he heard there was a chance, he didn’t mind the result, as long as it made it possible to bring back the person he cherished which is something that can be seen with Mika.
Yu’s nature goes to not only from being a kind guy but rather, he seeks to be helpful but along this, it only leads to a self destructive attitude despite him not acknowledging it.
The reason he lacks character development is not because of being badly written but rather, because his heart carries many traumas, he hasn’t been able to move on from them, he hasn’t learnt how to overcome them and have the confidence to state what he really feels aloud; he’s afraid of rejection; his actions alone speak that he wouldn’t dare to betray someone’s wishes because it’d mean losing the trust he might have built with the characters he has interacted with.
But then, there’s something else to notice about Yu’s behavior, what could it be?
Correct. Despite Yu being someone who wishes people could rely on, he unconsciously sets barriers towards the people that know him, such barriers are directed towards the squad that has worked up with him and became an important family to him; but how can make such statement?
That’s simple. It is reflected within the behavior seen in the latest chapter. Shiho and Yoichi for losing their loved ones and seeing Yu crying for losing his loved one as well, understood the pain he went through; and thus, for them being easier to express such thing without the fear of losing anything else, they don’t want to risk to lose more; such behavior is directed towards them unknowingly
It can only be said it is required to wait and see when Yu will stop fearing to have contradictions or rather, when he’ll start being more honest of what he truthfully feels.
What do you think dear readers?
Let me know!

OnS Theories (13S). First Theory - Demons and their selected weapons. Aspects of their personalities (Long Theory - Part II)
Hey guys, and we continue with part II! It’s been a long time since I shared a long theory, I admit it’s not one of the things I tend to do mainly because I believe the theories I end up sharing are long but well, I hope these theories can be of your liking dear readers! Thank you very much!
Before I start, link for part I is: OnS Theories (13S). First Theory - Demons and their selected weapons. Aspects of their personalities (Long Theory - Part I)
Therefore, with any other thing to say, let’s begin!
As I was talking in the previous post, demons and wielders share traits alike, along the shape of the cursed gear that is heavily related to their wills; therefore, let’s keep going with the list
4. Shiho Kimizuki and Kiseki-O
Shiho is a straightforward character within the story, it is still unknown certain aspects of his past, so it applies for his demon Kiseki-O. You might wonder what exactly do they share
As funny it might be, Shiho Kimizuki is a guy that goes straight to the point; he’s honest on what he’ll do if the situation requires it but within this, there’s also kindness deep inside, which is heavily displayed in many chapters of the story such as when he worries about the squad, when he aims to rescue Yu with Yoichi, when he takes measures so he can be a good support since he’s a Meele combat fighter.
The cursed gear he wields twin swords, those twin swords or dual swords; the fact that he carries those swords speaks a lot about Kiseki-O and Kimizuki himself, what do I mean?
When we talk about katanas or swords, they speak about the wielder’s determination, at the same time, they reflect the intentions of the wielder; when it comes to dual swords; it reflects decision, willpower to achieve goals at any cost; but now, how does this relate to Kiseki-O?
Kiseki-O didn’t go off explaining to Kimizuki he’d try to possess him, he went straight to the trial in order to possess Kimizuki’s heart; of course, the outcome ended up with Kimizuki winning the trial.
5. Yoichi Saotome and Gekkouin
One of the most curious and interesting pair as wielder and demon.
Yoichi is often portrayed as a kind boy who is always thoughtful of the squad or family; he’s always worrying about the well being of the others but, at the same time, he harbors a dark personality, which is something that is first seen in chapter 51 once he spots Lacus Welt.
Lacus Welt is well known for being the vampire that killed his older sister Tomoe Saotome; therefore, Yoichi slowly ended up building grief and a grudge against Lacus Welt which is something Gekkouin knows pretty well.
But, how exactly does Gekkouin’s personality match with Yoichi’s?
Gekkouin is a demon that is very honest; and perhaps it might sound funny with such irony but the truth is, Gekkouin’s behavior with Yoichi was very straightfoward with him, he was aware of what lied within Yoichi’s heart; Gekkouin himself embraces honesty and brutality, which, in a way, fits Yoichi’s dark side or more likely, his deepest desire of revenge.
Now, you might wonder why Yoichi ended up getting a bow instead of another weapon, the answer to this is simple; Yoichi is an observant, so is Gekkouin, both are aware of what they want, both are aware of their targets; their goals; therefore, as I’ve been stating before, there’s a logical reason why weapons and demons end up being together along with their wielder.
6. Kureto Hiragi and Raimeki
For this case, there’s not enough information about Raimeki to expand a lot or talk about her, but it’s clear she’s very loyal to Kureto and is objective with what she wants. It is seen that Raimeki is a hard worker in terms of protecting Kureto, which is seen in chapter 58 once Shikama Doji tries to possess him.
Along this, Kureto wields a sword/katana, which, as I stated in the first part with Yu and Guren, this reflects will, determination, strength. The sword itself reflects a lot of its wielder and it’s something Kureto displays a lot.
Kureto is a hardworker. He’s trained, he’s learnt from past experiences, he’s aware of what’s good or bad and what it’s required to succeed even if it means sacrificing some for a greater purpose.
Of course, this doesn’t justify his actions but rather explains what his character is like.
At the same time, it can be said that Raimeki and Kureto share something in common which is kindness; despite the inmense stun face Kureto has or more likely the face of authority, he has a kind heart, he worries a lot about the future of humanity along the fact that he shoulders the will and lives of other human beings; which can be spoken of Raimeki; she ended up taking care of Kureto and suggesting him what he could do so he could give her strength to face a bigger threat.
7. Shinya Hiragi and Byakkomaru
Shinya Hiragi is rather a character with mysteries and secrets; he’s Guren’s best friend and ally ever since the events before the Catastrophe were unleashed.
Shinya’s personality is cold and has to put up a facade so anyone ends up believing he’s fine or he’s rather positive of any situation but in fact, Shinya is rather a sad character, his future was sealed after his parents ended up giving him away to the Hiragi Family
But despite this, Shinya has shown a caring attitude towards others, warmness, and most of all, he eventually found a reason to live.
You might wonder how Byakkomaru relates with Shinya if his manifestation form is the one of a Tiger.
Generally speaking, a tiger represents strength and power; but despite that manifestation, Byakkomaru in fact is a demon surrounded in a mist of mystery, he’s aware of Shinya’s nature and heart; but, at the same time, Byakkomaru is not like other demons, what do I mean?
Byakkomaru is collected, serious and observant, instead of focusing on Shinya’s greedy desires, he observes his wielder from afar unless this one ends up requesting for power which is seen in chapter 83.
To conclude with this long theory, it can be said that demon’s take or end up possessing a determinated weapon for a reason, and of course, it is highly focused on the personality of the wielder.
As for other wielders and their respective demons and cursed gear, I can’t really go into depth since they barely appeared or were eventually killed.
But that asides, what do you think guys? Do you believe it’s fate itself or perhaps there’s another reason behind the fact how cursed gears ended up with their respective wielders?
Let me know!!!
