i’ve never seen a more clear and clever way to show a character giving away their heart. this comes right after tay told kinn to let his heart go, to uncage it. so kinn sneaks out of the hospital to give porsche his lucky gun aka his heart
i just. it’s so fitting and perfect that his gun, a thing of violence and explosiveness and the very symbol of kinn’s life, is also the symbol for his heart. he’s giving away his protection, leaving himself somewhat vulnerable, which is how he feels giving his heart away—especially after whatever happened with tawan
