Also Damirae from a story perspective just makes so much more sense narratively than Beastrae. Damien and Raven are both children born from dangerous legacies who spent years unlearning the harmful ideas of their heritage and using the fruits of their lineage to do good.
To have two characters like that fall in love and start dating, overcoming their pasts together for the sake of altruism fits them thematically in a way Beastrae hasnt and honestly never really could.
I literally will never understand how people like beastrae over damirae. It just fundamentally does not make sense to me. Beast boy is a creepy perverted loser who simps over a girl that tried to kill while Damien is a assassin son of a powerful dynasty and the most intelligent man alive. Out of both options who in their right mind would choose beast boy.
