[ .... ] there was a choice to be made here. dawn's blood had already entered the lock and twisted the key in opening glory's home dimension. both dimensions now bleeding into one; demons and creepy crawlies clawing their way into her reality, everything being sucked into a pure darkness she could've never imagined. her and glory had already combatted to the point where glory knew she had to book it, escape. she saw her only chance in going back home and she took it; along with dawn. she had witnessed the hell-god taking her sister into the portal she had opened but it hadn't closed, not yet. the purple, crackling energy had started, slowly, closing up before her eyes which meant she had to make a choice. she would do anything for her sister ... including jumping into the unknown. spike had pleaded to her from behind, begging her not to jump but there she stood on the edge of the metal tower, staring down into the portal. she glanced over her shoulder and smiled at spike, ❝ i have to ❞ she told him, ❝ she's my sister. i'm going and i'll find a way back. tell giles that i had to ❞ she finished before giving him a final nod and then leaping into the blurb of energy.
the journey through the portal was a painful one; it felt like her insides were being ripped apart, turning her inside out. it felt like the torture had lasted hours, days even, but it was only mere seconds when buffy had came out the other end. she had fallen onto the ground with a loud thump, groaning in pain. she rolled over onto her back and then sat up, looking around at the dimension she had fallen into. ❝ i'm definitely not in sunnydale anymore ... ❞ she observed to herself. she got onto her feet, painfully, and took in her new surroundings. a variety of different demons crawled, slithered, and flew around her, having free reign wherever this was. this wasn't going to be an easy feat in finding dawn and glory, they could be anywhere. she guessed the first thing in finding out where they were was to classically beat it out of someone; preferably someone that could actually speak to her. buffy had roamed until she happened upon a demon on its two feet and she didn't waste any time in grabbing said demon and beating it until she had really done a number on it. ❝ where is glory and how do i find her ? ❞ she demanded, the creature disobeying at first but buffy had the uncanny ability in convincing others to play along.
she had gotten the information out of the creature that she needed and started to venture using the directions she was given. she hadn't made it too far when glory's scabby minions had found her first. buffy was going to fight them off but, she had figured if she allowed them to essentially capture her, they'd bring her right to glory and dawn. so, she allowed them to think they captured her and take her directly to glory's castle where she sat upon her awaited throne. unlike the dimension that surrounded them, glory's castle was the complete opposite; fancy, clean, full of beautiful things such as gold and diamonds. they brought buffy up and tossed her onto the ground before glory's feet. she fell on all fours and flipped her hair out of her face, looking up to see her foe once again. she snared at glory. ❝ your most splendid one, we found — the slayer ❞ the minion informed glory.
