Buckle up, because SHABâs âOne Suitcaseâ just dropped, and itâs⌠a lot. Twenty-one tracks of pure, unadulterated pop â itâs like being force-fed a rainbow-flavored cake while riding a rollercoaster through a hall of mirrors. The core message? Desire. Raw, messy, sometimes confusing, sometimes gloriously straightforward desire. SHAB, a global pop sensation and advocate, apparently decided to unpack every single facet of romantic connection, from that first electric jolt (did anyone else feel a sudden urge to rearrange their sock drawer while listening? Just me?) to the confident demand for, well, more. Thereâs this persistent thrum of empowerment, almost like [âŚ]
Raw, Messy, Real: SHAB Bares All in "One Suitcase" Buckle up, because SHAB's "One Suitcase" just dropped, and it's... a lot. Thereâs this persistent thrum of empowerment, almost like SHAB's whispering (I know, no "whisper"!), that women aren't done taking their sensuality back, like some hidden art gallery, where some can find abstract figures made of light. Speaking of which, wasnât there a Roman emperor who collected spoons? What a random time, much different to ours. But then the album shifts, swerving into these moments of deep longing, an almost obsessive yearning for a soulmate. This musical is a personal narrative from oppression to freedom, a theme felt. The musical transitions within "One Suitcase," are stark, abrupt, and full of change in many different shapes and sizes. [caption id="attachment_59079" align="alignnone" width="768"] Raw, Messy, Real: SHAB Bares All in "One Suitcase"[/caption] Itâs electric pop, sure, but itâs got this⌠texture. Like velvet sandpaper, maybe? Smooth in one moment, unexpectedly abrasive the next. This, along with the number of tracks. helps highlight the length of time and journey reflected, as SHAB celebrates a new independent life for her, in America. And throughout, you feel SHABâs own journey, that transition from oppression to this defiant freedom. Itâs exhilarating and, honestly, a little overwhelming. But it's also incredibly potent. "One Suitcase" isnât asking for your polite applause. Itâs demanding you feel something. It is challenging. Will you still be thinking about it next week? Maybe, or Maybe the human mind is fascinating... Follow SHAB on Website, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Twitter.

Packing for my trip and this isn't even all of my clothes not to mention shoes or toiletries. . . #packing #pasadena2017 #california #onesuitcase #tetris
Thoughts on Places
In precisely, thirty-one days I will be traveling abroad. I'm not sure my heart can take it! My suitcase is staring at me like, "Hi, I'll be your friend for four months soon--please fill me?" And  I just stare at it trying to imagine myself in Ireland. Trying to imagine getting all of my clothes into one bag and a carry on #girlproblems
.Â
To be honest I know it's not about the stuff--life seldom is. My trip is about collecting memories, not things, so if I pack a little or even if I pack a lot my suitcase will be full. I hope it will be full of the sound of bells before Mass, and the sweet Irish grass coupled with a good book and a BIG mug of tea or coffee. I hope that my bag is filled with happy memories and postcards to send home. I hope that my trip is everything I've dreamed it to be. I know that my imagination can run wild but, I also believe that my thoughts on Ireland and what it will be like are realistic. It will be everything listed above I'm sure and more than I can possibly imagine.I know that not every moment there will be joyful, but there will be abundant joy. As well as fear, stress, and sadness. This will be my first time so far away from family with out the ability to visit. I am not worried (although my mother is). I will still miss my family though. This will be a trip that changes my life. I can only hope that as it changes me--I will be able to bring that change to others in stories, and poems, and reminiscences. Or perhaps  in an overall attitude, a changed demeanor. I don't know if you can look at someone and know they've traveled but, I do think you can look at them and know they're kind, honest, humble and exciting. I hope people will look at me and see those things. I wish that for all people.. To be Kind, To be Honest, To be Humble, And just a little bit exciting.    Kinda like leaving for Ireland in 31 days! AHHHHHHHHHHH
