Es una historia de realismo mágico que nos habla de cómo superar una pérdida, de cómo volver a encontrar el camino a casa, de cómo volver a ser nosotros mismos tras sufrir algo tan doloroso, tras sentirnos tan perdidos, solos, abandonados. De cómo la vida puede ser injusta, pero no nos queda otra que vivirla. Conoceremos a Katy pero también a Carol, su madre, en esa época joven y loca, sin ataduras, y más adelante, a lo largo de los años junto a Katy. #AngiesReadingAdventure “Silenzio Bruno” -Alberto Scorfano in Luca One Italian Summer by Rebecca Serle Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 I’ve finally read the book that I’ve seen so much on bookstagram. The book centers around the relationship between Katy and her mother, Carol who dies in the beginning of the book. The aspect of grief in this book was so interesting and in a way that resonates when you. One thing I loved was the imaginative descriptions of the Italian coast and the Poseidon hotel. The descriptions made me feel like I was there with Katy and not in the Texas Heat. However, the codependent relationship Katy had with her mother was tough to read since it’s what in a way made me almost DNF this book. The twist really got me though! ¡Feliz martes! ¿Cómo lleváis el calor? Yo fatal, esto es un infierno 🥵 Así que es mejor pensar en cosas bonitas, como el envío que recibí hace unos días de parte de @titania.ed. Un libro en el que creo que me sentiré identificada, como siempre que habla de la perdida de una madre 😔, y con el que viajaré a uno de los lugares que me muero por conocer, Positano, en la Costa Amalfitana. ¿Sabéis que en ese lugar tan idílico se rodó parte de Bajo el sol de la Toscana? Además de Solo tú y El talento de Mr. Ripley. Va a ser el libro que se venga conmigo de vacaciones, así que en Agosto tendréis la reseña.
