ANSWERED ASK ; TRACING SCARS.
@omatics
he’s lucky that she was there, that she cared enough to look out for him. because if grace hadn’t of been there, he would be dead rather than just bleeding. there was a time when that thought would of been pleasing to him, but that was no longer the case. things were better now. better because he had someone in his life that truly cared about him.
his teeth clench as cold hands lift the tatters of his shirt over his head, no doubt so that grace could see the extent of his wounds. he was lucky this time, the claws barely piercing his skin. the bleeding was already beginning to slow down. pain killers and a warm shower was all he really needed after such an injury.
his gaze meets grace’s, a slight smile on his lips. “ thank you. ” it didn’t occur to him that she hadn’t seen his bare chest before. it hadn’t occurred to him that the scars littering his body might not seem normal to others. it hadn’t occurred to him until he felt those same cold fingers tracing over the circle of rough, raised scar tissue decorating a large part of his stomach and he forgets to breath for a moment.
he keeps his gaze on her face, releasing the breath he’d been holding. he can’t find the right words to explain, so inside he watches. watches her eyes find the various other scars littering his exposed body. jaw clenches, lifting a hand to cover grace’s. “ this one -- ” he pauses, moving her hand over the circular wound once more, “ was gifted to me by my sister. ”
