Catherine’s Royal Closet (44/∞) ♚
↬ 'Duchess' One Button Blazer
The Navy One Button 'Duchess' Blazer from the Canadian label Smythe was debuted by Catherine just a few months following her and Prince William's wedding when they boarded a flight from Heathrow Airport as they kicked off their North American Tour of 2011.
The jacket has become one of Catherine's most reworn pieces from her wardrobe. It was a permanent fixture in her 2012 London Olympics Lookbook.
It was also worn by her for the 2014 Commonwealth games, the Royal International Air Tattoo in 2016, during a visit to Cornawall later in the same year, to present a Pride of Britain award in 2020 and finally for an appearance at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships.
Crafted from high-quality Italian wool, the navy blue blazer features a single-breasted design. It also has notched lapels, gold-tone buttons, princess seams and front pockets. The cut-out panel at the back of the blazer is both distinctive and unique.
