Body/character reference sheet for Lilac’s pilot designs, of the four playable characters available in Monolith: After The End. Don’t worry if these look a little rough, Lilac’s skill and confidence improves the closer you get to the present, and unfortunately I’m unable to find the colorised version that supposedly existed.

Lilac’s first sketch/designs for the Overlord (right) and Anarchist (left) pilots, for the Sword and Chaos modes/ships, respectively. Definitely not the last time she drawn them, either.

Possibly one of the oldest renditions of the characters as human pilots, going back all the way to November 2017, the same year the game was released. This is definitely one of her earliest sketches, so as the sketches become closer in time, the characters become more defined and consistent.

Now this is an old, old drawing, going all the way back to September 2017. Before Lilac had settled on her current pilot designs, she’d considered these gijinka designs for the two main characters. Though they ended up being put aside for the modern designs, I still think these look good and are worth showing. I’ll point out that the remember the comment to make their hair colors match their drinks, which I believe is a fantastic touch.
