Stapelia olivacea, a classic South African endemic that seems to require a specific mid altitude niche in order to manage itās survival. S. olivacea is a relatively rare member of the genera despite itās relatively wide range, itās realized locality depends on the mist, boulder like and gravelly media, and mountain orientation. With this said, itās uncommon in collections too; but, not too difficult to cultivate.Ā
