1 INT. PUPPET THEATER – 1# WE OPEN on a puppet theater, ala Nicholas Nickelby + Babe. The grand crimson velvet curtains part as the camera pans in and shadow puppets appear. There is a little girl. . .

GEORGIA (V.O.) "Once upon a time there was a little girl named Georgia. She had pretty golden hair—"

PUPPET THEATER CONTINUED The little girl’s hair turns gold.

GEORGIA (V.0) "--and pretty—"

GEORGIA (V.0) "Maybe I should start from the beginning?"

PRIM (V.O.) "I think you should start from the beginning."

GEORGIA (V.O) "Okay, I’ll start from the beginning."

PUPPET THEATER CONTINUED The shadow puppets disappear and are replaced with two simple silhouettes: one of a man and one of a woman.

GEORGIA (V.O) "Once upon a time there was a daddy and a mummy, but before they were a daddy and mummy they were regular people. . ."

CUT TO: 2 EXT. PUPPET THEATER FADES INTO REALITY - DAY 2# The puppet theater transitions to reality to see a man with his back towards us, standing on a grassy hill in the middle of nowhere with tall trees behind him. Lumberjacks? Fighting rings? Paul Bunyan?

GEORGIA (V.O) "My daddy was a sweet. . ."

INTERCUT TO AN EXTREME CLOSE SHOT OF HIS FACE A smile spreads across his lips

GEORGIA (V.O) ". . .hopelessly romantic. . ."

INTERCUT TO A CLOSE SHOT OF HIS SILHOUETTE AND A CLOSE HIP LEVEL SHOT AT A DUTCH ANGLE Crimson roses blossom behind his entirety and a book of poetry is carried in his hand

GEORGIA (V.O) ". . .handsomely tall and perfectly blonde. . ."

INTERCUT TO A CLOSE SHOT OF HIS BACK SILHOUETTE The crimson roses remain, as he becomes taller and lithe; and his hair turns to a pale gold color

GEORGIA (V.O) ". . .rich. . ."

Money bags drop at his feet and his clothes change to a crisp suit

GEORGIA (V.O) ". . .very rich. . ."

The background becomes a large castle-like estate, complete with rose gardens

GEORGIA (V.O) ". . .extremely rich. . ."

Fancy looking cars appear on either side of him and women are at his sides,

GEORGIA (V.O) ". . .Englishman."

Finally, the man turns around, revealing a lovely grin and cornflower blue eyes. He hands one of the women the book of poetry and gives a sort of Great Gatsby nod, in exchange for a cup of tea which he then toasts with a wink to

3 EXT. GALA AWARD? – NIGHT MEDIUM SHOT TO LONG/WIDE SHOT The man is now wearing a black-tailed suit, wearing shiny dress shoes, and carrying a gold lion-tipped cane. He’s atop a platform, award in hand and multiple blinding camera lights flash on him.

GEORGIA (V.O.) "My daddy is very famous and very smart. . ."

THE CAMERA PANS OUT, A LONG-WIDE SHOT WE FIND COLLEAGUES AND PRESS FILLING A CROWD, ALL APPLAUDING

GEORGIA (V.O.) ". . .Very famous. . ."

GEORGIA (V.O.) ". . .and very smart. . ."

GEORGIA (V.O.) "He was an advisor for __"

INCTERCUT TO A CLOSE-UP SHOT Again, we get a very Great Gatsby wink and nod

VIOLET (V.O.) "Georgia? Come do the dishes!"

CUT TO BLACK

GEORGIA (V.O.) "But I’ll get all groggy, and—"

VIOLET (V.O.) "Georgia, its your turn! Come do the dishes, now!"
