I've always believed that I belong in a different decade. I've considered the 1950's, because I'm a huge Elvis fan. But then again, I'm also a huge jazz fan. So, maybe I belong in the 1920's? Just thinking about the spectacular party scenes from the Great Gatsby makes me want to put on my flapper dress, chop off my hair, and grab some pearls. 

Here's a famous scene from Cabaret, starring the one and only Liza Minnelli.

Since time travel hasn't been invented yet, I'll have to settle for something a little more attainable. And I'm in luck--the Cabaret is coming to the Fredric March Play Circle!!!

Four Seasons Theatre is following up on the success of their first Cabaret show last semester by offering another one. FST is celebrating its 10th anniversary and I think that launching this new series is the perfect way for them to celebrate what they've accomplished and to brand themselves with something new, creative, and exciting. The show will be a "club style" performance. You will be able to sit back comfortably and enjoy a fantastic performance by Four Seasons performers.

The next Cabaret @ the Circle program, "MADison Men Sing," is on Friday, April 24.  Real men sing showtunes in this evening of song and swagger featuring music from shows like She Loves Me, Les Miserables, Secret Garden, The World Goes Round, and more.

If you'd like to join me in a roaring time, a swinging night, the big cheese....then meet me at the Cabaret on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 8pm!
