On the nose it's all coconuts at first, with hints of pineapple, vanilla, and dark caramel developing as it gets some air. Just looking at it in the glass, you can see the viscosity, even though it's bottled at the relatively tame 40 percent alcohol by volume. Tasting it, the biggest notes are tropical fruits, dry wood, tobacco, and, of course, coconut. The finish is long and soft with orange peel and milk chocolate flavors. Definitely a rum with sweetness across the board.

Papá Andrés is limited to only 1,000 bottles for $1,500.

Pyrat Cask 1623 is distilled on Anguilla, matured in oak barrels for as much as 40 years! The decanter is made of hand-blown glass, and it comes in a handmade walnut case. A rare rum, resulting from a limited production. 

Its dark amber colour, opens with multiple dried and fresh fruit aromas – peaches, grapes, prunes, green figs and sherried walnuts; rich and dense body with ginger-peachy and maple sugar flavors; well-managed tannins and acids, with a powerful, long and strong finish. Karukera Cuvée Christophe Colomb 1493 rum is a limited edition premium old rum bottled in elegant decanter bottle with mahogany color, released to honor explorer Christopher Columbus`s discovery on Guadeloupe in 1493. It was the Caribs who called the island "Karukera," which is roughly translated as "island with beautiful waters." After 15 years of maturation, it has developed enticing aromas of caramel, toffee, chocolate, vanilla and banana with hints of flower petals and earth. The palate is creamy, smooth and equally intense. Very complex and expressive, this rum has a place in every home bar.

Delightfully kitsch! This Mexican rum comes from Cordoba, where Don Augustin and Don Juan signed the Tratados de Cordoba to give Mexico its independence in 1821. 

Mocambo is a delicious dark rum, matured in European white oak and bottled unblended, as a single barrel product. This is a medium-bodied, 10 year old rum.

The nose offers oak and brown sugar, spices and toffee. Soft flavors of dried fruits and honey build to a warm and spicy medium-bodied richness. The finish is medium to long, warm, sweet and woody.
