Once again, these are all from Hamtaro Season 11, Hamha-Man The Jutsice Hero
DO I EVEN HAVE TO SAY WHY I LOVER HER??

As today is a very special date, we will be releasing these episodes the same time in Patreon and Tumblr!
As it is Hamtaroās birthday, we wanted to offer something good. And so, here are two completely new subbed episodes!
First we have Episode 142, Make a Wish to Cherry Blossom!
This is a Mimi episode, it is a little sad to think that she has more episodes than her hamster Panda. This is a fun episode with an interesting twist, there were a bunch of songs! One of them was even a parody version of the opening, we hope you enjoy it!
And second we have Episode 263, Pitter-patter, Hamha Tree.
This episode focuses on the last arc location and its owner: the Hamha Tree and Okini. We get to know a lot more about Hamha Tree and Okiniās love for money. However, Okini is one of the hardest characters to translate in the whole series given her thick osakan accent (think of a very thick southern or australian accent), but we think we did a great job!
There is one more surprise coming! But it deserves its own post. So stay tuned!
We at Paradise Hamsubs want to wish Hamtaro and Cappy a happy birthday, and for you to enjoy our episodes!

One Spirit: Helping American Indians Survive
Todayās Donation Recipient:
One Spirit
My wife has a huge heart. In fact, in my 56 years on this planet, Iām pretty sure Iāve never met anybody who does more to help other people. Kathyās a knitter and crocheter, and probably 98 percent of everything she creates gets donated to charity. Hats, scarves, mittens, blankets, sweaters⦠You name it, and my wife has spent time making it and sent it to places far and wide so people less fortunate than us can be more comfortable.Ā
I give Kathy a lot of good-natured ribbing about her creations for charity. Iāll see her knitting a sweater for a little boy or girl (see the photo of such a sweater at the bottom of this post) and ask her when sheās going to make me a sweater. Or Iāll suggest to her that selling the stuff she makes would be a much more economical venture. But over the years, Iāve seen how much happiness my wife gets from helping others, and that makes me much happier than a sweater or a little extra money in the bank account ever would.
One charity Kathy loves to contribute to is One Spirit, a Native American service organization founded to assist and support American Indians. Right now, One Spiritās focus is on theĀ Oglala Lakota on the Pine Ridge ReservationĀ in South Dakota. They help the Lakota meet their basic needs and provide a culturally rich life for their youth. Their programs promote an intercultural relationship that recognizes that we are all related and that American Indians are an equal and valued part of our society.
The goal of One Spiritās programs is to reduce or eliminate hunger; to replace the high drop out and suicide rates among youth with an enthusiasm for learning and pride in their Lakota heritage; and to provide protection from extreme winter temperatures that can drop to 40 below zero.
One Spirit believes:
On planet Earth, we are all related.
We can help break the cycle of poverty by strengthening families, promoting economic development and educational opportunities, and providing programs that bring hope to young Native Americans.
Programs that strengthen families and assist them in the protection of their children from the harsh effects of hunger and cold can change what has become a legacy of poverty and addiction.
It is vitally important to support the elders in continuing their traditional roles of providing expertly crafted traditional clothing, quilting and beadwork that is a symbol of the tribe and teaching the skills for these crafts to younger generations.
Valuing their culture, their language, and their arts is a viable way for the Lakota people to be recognized, as a people, as a nation, as a culture. This recognition will give them a stronger voice to defend their struggles, value their own identity, and make changes from within that promotes self-sufficiency and leadership.
Our programs will help cultivate an intercultural relationship that recognizes that we are all ONE.
Ā I asked my wife to tell me a little bit about One Spirit, and this is what she said:
āOne Spirit tries to help people in a variety of ways, including meeting the needs of families who are in crisis due to illness or fire or loss of a job. If you'd rather donate items instead of sending money, you can look at the Okini ListāOkini is a Lakota word meaning āto share material thingsāāto see what families need desperately right now. It is very often things we take for granted: toiletries, shoes or boots, food, and/or clothes for their kids for school.Ā
āI refer to this list often and, as a knitter, if I see someone requesting hats or mittens or warm clothing, I can knit a few hats or mittens or sweaters to send. It's a very easy way to contribute items that you know people need. The organization is really good about communicating with donors and letting them know that packages are received.
āIn addition, there are sponsorship opportunities. If you'd like to sponsor an elder or a child, you can contact One Spirit and they will match you with someone who needs help. Sponsors are asked to ship packages at least 4 times a year.ā
Todayās donation goes to One Spirit. Because glancing at the Okini List today, I see things like āYoung mom struggling to make ends meet really needs some help with clothing and blankets for her sonā; and āElder with disabilities has no income and would greatly appreciate some basics, a warm blanket and winter coat.ā And you know what? Those are things people shouldnāt have to ask for.

About this blog:Ā Causes and Effect: My Year of Giving Daily wasĀ startedĀ in 2013 by entertainment and culture journalist Melinda Newman, who made daily donations to a wide variety of non-profits and wrote about her experience. Former USA Today music writer Brian Mansfield took on this monumental task in 2014. This year, more than 20 individuals will contribute, each taking over the blog for a period of time.Ā
About the writer: Dean Dauphinais is a writer, blogger, and recovery advocate who works tirelessly to break the stigma associated with addiction and depression. In 2013, he walked away from a 24-year career in publishing to pursue his passion: helping families and individuals affected by substance use and mental health issues. In addition to his personal blog, Dean contributes to such sites as HuffPost, TheFix.com, Recovery.org, Shatterproof, Hello Humans, and To Write Love on Her Arms. He has also worked as a lead advocate for Heroes in Recovery and as a parent coach for the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids. A lover of music, cooking, and cats, he lives in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, with his big-hearted wife, Kathy. Ā
