When she was very little, the family cat scratched her lip. She was upset and cried but her mother comforted her and told her that the cat wasn't trying to hurt her, it was just scared and trying to protect itself. Ever since she taught herself how to understand cats and their body language and grew a deep love for them.

 Selina has a younger sister named Maggie. After their parents died in an accident, they both were in the foster system before a tragic incident left Selina incarcerated and Maggie relocated to a catholic church who would raise her.

 Selina's a very self sufficient person, and while she does enjoy relationships, hardly opens herself up to them emotionally.

She never had any intentions to fall in love with Bruce/Batman. She wanted to toy with him and manipulate him into letting her get away with her crimes, and then realized he’s actually a good man. And she knows how hard those are to find

Selina is a great roommate, however Harley and Ivy are not, and their whole dynamic during the Sirens time is very strained and they fight a lot.
