Oikawa has always been looking for someone. He's always grown up around people in relationships and has always desired to have one himself. So when he started trying to look for someone to date he found himself only falling in love with one girl. No it wasn't you. It was one girl he met in high school. He fell deeply in love with her, even planned to live with her and move to Argentina with her. 

But something was just off about her.. she always desired the materialistic things that Oikawa had to offer. When he would go to kiss her she’s shove him off, when he went to talk to her she’d snap at him. The whole time he thought that he wad doing something wrong. How would he know what not to do and what to do in a relationship? he could of went to his sister or his mother but they wouldn’t fully supply the answer. How could he accuse her of something when he doesn’t even know what to accuse her of. 

He let this happen to him for  2 years when finally Iwazumi got into a relationship. He saw how close they were, the equal amounts of affection that was given in the relationship. it was so healthy, that's what he wanted, he wanted a strong and healthy relationship where both parties are invested. 

So Oikawa broke up with the girl. He still didn't know completely why, but he thought he knew he could figure out an answer after the relationship ended. And, although the relationship ended in tears and broke glass, he felt so relieved. He felt this way for probably a week or two. Until he felt lonely again. He tried going on dates and even one night stands but he felt nothing. He wanted someone to love. 

INT. AIRPORT - 12:38 PM IN THE AFTERNOON

Oikawa just got off of his trip from Japan to the US. He was on his way to meet Iwazumi and his partner in California. 

Oikawa stands at the pickup waiting for his friend

“He’s late” Oikawa thinks to himself, he makes his way over to a little bench by the entrance and scrolls through his phone waiting for his friend to arrive. 

HONK! HONK!

Oikawa shoots his head up and looks at the gray car right in front of him. The tinted window on the car rolls down and he sees it’s his long time friend.

“You’re so late” Oikawa smiles. “okay whatever, Shittykawa” 

“what's that dark thing on your neck?”

“SHUT UP!!” 

“were y'all fuckin?” 

“IF YOU DON’T SHUT UP I’LL DUMP YOU OUT THE CAR NOW” 

“my bad, my bad,,, so y'all was fuckin”

INT. IWAZUMIS HOUSE - 9:48 PM IN THE AFTERNOON

It’s been so long since he’s been around Iwazumi and his partner. Iwa is trying to catch Oikawa up on all the things that couldn't be shared through a simple message or a video call. He tells him that he plans to get married during the summer and how in love he is. Oikawa is convinced he's trying to rub it in his face. Iwa knows how badly Oikawa wants a partner, and Iwa has tried to set him up on some dates. But the girls just weren't appealing to him. Each and everyone of them was the same.

“are you trying to make me jealous??” Oikawa asks, taking another sip of his drink 

Iwa furrows his eyebrows “what do you mean?” “I feel so lonely, I want what you have, Iwa” 

Iwazumi is a little bit surprised by this comment “you want what I have?” “yeah, you seem so in love, y'all haven been dating for years now and I want something like that” 

Iwa moves a little in his chair “I think that it just takes time-” “but how fucking long” Oikawa whines, “I've been waiting for years and years” he continues. “Oikawa, I don’t know what to tell you man, I'm not the best at giving love advice” 

Oikawa huffs in defeat, “it’s fine, I’m gonna just go to bed, goodnight” 

The whole night Oikawa keeps dreaming about what his significant other may look like, how they talk, what do they think or dream about, and maybe even some sexual things too. He just wanted to find the right person. 

04/07/2022 8:15 AM 

Oikawa is greeted to the smell of bacon from his bedroom, he shoots up out of his bed ready to devour the back only to come into the kitchen and see Iwazumi and his partner making out... over the bacon. 

“oh lord take me now” he says loudly enough for the couple to hear. “oh hey good morning, Oikawa, do you want some bacon?” Iwazumi’s partner says trying to act like nothing happened. “no I'm fine I'll get some cereal” “You sure” Oikawa lets out a lough sigh and walks over to the couple. 

“you guys didn’t put you cooties on the bacon did you” 

“No, Jackass” 

9:38 AM 

“Come on, Jackass” yells Iwazumi “I feel like I have a child”

“WAIT WAIT I NEED TO FIND MY COAT” 

“IT’S 60 DEGREES OUT YOU DON’T NEED ONE” 

“DON’T QUESTION ME IWA” 

Oikawa comes runing out of the room and meets Iwazumi at the door

“wait I need to get some more bacon” 

“oh my god..”

INT/EXT. IWAZUMI’S CAR - 9:42 AM

“I swear if we’re late” Iwazumi growls under his breath “I don't know why you have your drawls in a bunch, it’s my meeting” Oikawa says munching on his last piece of bacon,”hey is this turkey bacon orr”, Iwazumi shoots him a glare. “okay my bad” 

Oikawas meeting begins at around 10:00. He had to meet with his new lawyer because the other one left (reasons unknown). Oikawa was very excited to meet this new person and Iwazumi says that they’ve been a good friend of his for a minute so hopefully Oikawa has a good impression on this new person. 

10:06 AM

they were late. I mean it wasn’t that bad since it was only 6 minutes, but it was also 6 minutes to late. 

they enter the business room and suddenly all eyes were on them. 5 people in the room and you could tell they were all ready, they been ready. 

“we apologize for coming in so late” Iwazumi says while the both of them bow.

Oikawa search the room trying to depict who his new layer and best friend could be. One guy with blond hair and brown eyes wear a black and white business suit, Another guy with short slicked back hair and fair skin, another male with a no hair, he was bald and wearing a gray suit and then.. oh

a girl. no no. a women. 

Her hair was beautiful, it was in braids something he’s only really seen in movies or on social media, and her skin complexion was so beautiful, and her makeup make her features stand out more, he was captivated by her. So much so that he was just standing there staring at her. He could feel his face heat up and his cheeks get red. She’s Devine. 

“Oikawa” iwazumi says in a stern tone

“yes-” he got broken out of his trance, Iwazumi starts to introduce himself and so do the other men but he only heard one name. yours. 

“Y/N” oh what a beautiful name. that’s a name he would want tattooed on his body and marked all over him. He wanted to know about Y/N and who she was.

All the men get up to shake Oikawa and Iwazumi’s hand and so did Y/N. Like routine he shakes all their hands and then he reaches Y/N. Her eyes were so beautiful, she gave direct eye contact so he could see her beautiful eyes. Her handshake was firm, she was a confident women he could tell just by the handshake. But he didn’t want to give her a firm handshake, he wanted to kiss her hand, then kiss up her arm to her neck. He wanted to hear her speak more.

“pleasure to meet you, Oikawa” good god al mighty.. her voice saying his name.. he could fall over right now. “I'm your new lawyer”

god is good, all the time. 

“nice to meet you, call me Tōru” 

she smiles at him “please to meet you, Tōru”...... he’s gonna bust a nut right here in this office. 

“pleasure to meet you too” he smiles unaware that he’s still holding onto her hand, iwazumi had to slap Oikawas hand. But still Oikawa’s eyes still look at her walk back to her seat. 

10:35 AM

Oikawa takes a seat next to Y/N in hopes that he doesn’t constantly try to look next to her. If Oikawa had sat across from her he wouln’t be able to take his eyes off of her. 

Yet his plan starts to fail, he keeps on looking over at Y/N, and keeps on smiling at him which makes him blush a little bit more. 

But finally she starts to speak business, and oh my god if that isn’t the hottest thing ever.. he doesn't know what is. All the words she's saying just fly right pass him and he’s only focused on her lips and how she articulates her words. Such a smart women. 

“Tōru, what do you think” Y/N asks 

“huh, oh uhm, yes” he has no clue what he was just asked. “okay, perfect, I'll give you my phone number and we can meet up somewhere to talk about what to do next, is that okay, Tōru?” they way she keeps saying his name, he knows now that she has to be fucking with him, she knows how satisfying it is to say his name and how delicious it sounds to hear from her. 

“oh yeah” she hands him her phone and types in his phone number and chaining his contact photo to a selfie of him. hoping she would look at it later 

“cute” she says taking the phone and smiling at it. If his face was red before this doesn't compare. 

“I'll message you later, bye everyone” she leaves the room and so does everyone else. 

damn, he should of asked for a picture of her.. he’ll do that when he texts her. 

11:03 AM

“hey were you okay in there” Iwazumi asks, looking over in the passenger seat to Oikawa who was staring at a black screen on his phone..

“yeah, I was fine, it was just hot” oikawa says 

“see I said you didn’t have to bring a coat” 

“oh shut up!!”
