#oh yeah everything

so yeah i still haven’t slept but i want to share this funny story (but not really because it hasn’t happened, that’ll make sense later) but all of my friends are still asleep so HI TUMBLR i’m sharing this with the like 2 people that will see it

So part of my job while i was in JROTC was to plan our annual Military Ball, which is not an easy task.  Anyway, after we had change of command, i made a turnover manual for the girl that got my job.  So the way our Mil Ball works is we all go through a receiving line before we get seated, then part of the ceremonial bit before eating and dancing is having a guest speaker talk to us.  I recommended to the new girl that she use the pastor at the church i used to sing at as the guest speaker.  And it is only just now that i am running purely on caffeine and willpower that i realized that that is a TERRIBLE IDEA.

The guest speaker typically stays for a little while, so they’re there while the music is playing and everyone is dancing and whatever.  And he’s a pretty cool guy but he’s still pastor and a religious figure and WE’RE NOT ABOUT TO BE DANCING FOR 2 HOURS TO ANGLICAN CHANT AND ORGAN, THIS IS A PARTY.  So he would probably be there when the music starts playing TO THE WINDOOOOOOOOW and he would be all WHAT IS THIS BLASPHEMOUS MUSIC SWEAT DRIP DOWN YOUR WHAT HEY LEAVE ROOM FOR JESUS KIDS
