Whether it was over at Ethan’s place or Benny’s place, the two boys from Whitechapel spent the majority of their time in each others’ presence. Best friends, and all that. It came with the territory. Studying (rarely), playing video games (more likely)... Lately, they’ve been fighting the supernatural. Between Ethan’s abilities as a Seer and Benny’s as a Spellmaster they were a formidable duo, though most of their ‘firepower’ came from the vampires they befriended.
Despite the more exciting aspects of their lives, normal things like ‘family’ never disappeared. Benny was raised by his grandmother for as long as he could remember. He grew up on stories of his father, though never met him himself. There was still some evidence of the man around the house. A toolbox, some handwritten notes, a box under his grandmother’s bed-- And Benny wanted to believe he’d come back one day, but as the years passed and he grew older and older... Well, it was time to be realistic. He had his grandmother, and he never felt unloved, so things weren’t so bad.
Unlocking the front door of his house for both himself and Ethan, Benny let out a loud groan before tossing his bag to the side where it made a dull thud when hitting the floor. “I am hungry, I don’t know about you,” He said, despite having eaten a bag of chips just moments before.
