"  valentine’s  coming  up  in  less  than  two  weeks  ,  "  she  remarks  through  a  mouthful  ,  as  if  her  bandmates  even  needed  the  heads  -  up.  "  do  you  guys  have  any  plans  so  far  ?  any  dates  you’re  going  on  ?  because  if  not  ,  "  she  pauses  to  chew  her  food  ,  eyes  drifting  from  bea  to  dahlia  with  slow  ,  deliberate  curiosity  &  before  either  of  them  has  the  chance  to  respond  ,  the  drummer  chimes  in  ,  "  i  might  have  an  idea  to  propose.  "  taking  a  quick  sip  of  the  large  coke  to  wash  down  her  bite  ,  she  shoots  a  mischievous  grin  at  the  two  girls  across  the  table.

no  trip  to  al  tavolo  was  a  trip  wasted  in  theodora's  eyes.  any  excuse  to  eat  one  of  meredith's  creations  was  worth  the  visit,  whether  she  had  company  or  not.  theodora  was  social  enough  that  she  could  make  company.  she  looks  at  the  person  next  to  her,  watching  as  they  ponder  the  menu.  “WHAT'S  TEMPTING  YOU  ?  maybe  i  could  help  sell  it.”

It wasn't often that Charlie got this nervous. He could recall a few times, his debut with Manchester City, when he told Mum he'd planned on moving back to Cider Point, and right now; standing outside a movie theater waiting for a girl he'd known since he was sixteen years old and somehow was learning for the first time. Charlie shifted on his feet, already one cigarette down and fingers itching to reach for the pack again before spotting her. "Sig." He smiled, taking a step forward to meet her, one arm wrapping around her waist on instinct as he kissed her cheek. "Mum told me to bring tissues, but little does she know I already had 'em packed. I weren't prepared for part one, so I figured part two is gonna be more emotional, yeah?" Charlie chuckled, pulling the door open for her. "After you, love."

"Signe Holström." Charlie smirked the second the door had opened to reveal her, "I'm here to invite you on a once in a lifetime spontaneous date with me. Right now." He clapped his hands together, "C'mon. You actually can't say no because that would be the single most embarrassing thing to ever happen to me and I'll spend the rest of my life curled up in bed replayin' the moment over and over. So.. It hadn't gone well. To no one's surprise, seeing Cillian again was a complete mess. Had this happened even a year ago, Charlie wasn't sure he'd have reacted the same way.
