“do  you  think  if  we  walked  in  there  and  said  it  was  our  first  day,  they'd  let  us  work  an  entire  shift  ?”

Ivy's dancing to the music, happily lost in the beat when her attention is diverted somewhere else. She nearly does a double take, her lips quirking up, "Well look at you."

“  i  was  escorted  out  and  told  not  to  come  back  but  i  don't  think  they  truly  meant  it  because  just  the  other  day  i  got  an  email  !  why  is  my  membership  still  active  if  they  don't  want  me  ?  mixed  signals.  ”  sydney  waves  a  salted  pretzel  in  the  air  for  emphasis,  eyes  flickering  to  the  corner  where  a  new  wave  of  people  have  wandered  out.  immediately,  they  sit  up,  fingers  darting  to  single  out  an  unsuspecting  resident.  “  six  months  !  i'm  telling  you.  six  months  and  their  head  is  going  to  resemble  a  ballroom  floor.  ”

not  all  decisions  should  be  difficult  –  something  elias  had  yet  to  learn  in  his  twenty-six  years  of  life.  so,  here  he  stood,  in  the  aisles  of  harvey's  market,  holding  two  different  types  of  paper  towels.  “there's  just  no  way  they  can  both  be  AMERICA'S  MOST  ABSORBENT.”

Ivy's been filing through Julian's closet, shaking her head in disapproval at a shirt with a loud pattern, when she hears another person approaching, "If that's Julian, I have some opinions." She turns, eyes landing on his, "Definitely not Julian.. Hi."

meeting  up  with  milo  was  not  out  of  the  ordinary  by  any  means.  they'd  placed  their  orders  and  were  now  sitting  across  from  each  other  in  a  booth,  her  fingers  tapping  against  the  table.  but,  there's  no  time  like  the  present,  so  she  grabs  one  of  her  tote  bags  (  she'd  ignored  his  earlier  questions  about  why  she  was  bringing  two  ),  pulling  a  small  stack  of  magazines  out  and  plopping  it  on  the  table  in  front  of  him.  “I  NEED  YOUR  HELP,”  she  begins,  pulling  out  a  pair  of  scissors  and  placing  it  on  top  of  his  pile.  “we're  entering  the  final  quarter  of  the  year,  and  i've  been  too  busy  to  work  on  my  vision  board.”

she's  a  little  buzzed,  wandering  around  the  party  looking  for  another  familiar  face.  the  one  she  spots  is  not  one  she's  excited  to  see,  and  the  way  she  holds  her  pointer  fingers  in  an  X  formation  in  front  of  her  is  proof  of  that.  “halloween  is  still  two  months  away,  who  let  you  out  of  hiding  ?”
