The two siblings took their time. They knew the terrain they were traversing was a bit precarious. This wouldn’t be their first time dealing with terrain like this. In fact, close to their home, the terrain got a bit dangerous. To say they weren’t experienced with this kind of terrain would be an understatement. Even so, the two siblings breathed a sigh of relief when their feet touched solid ground. They continued to listen to Elena’s instructions either way as the ground was a bit slippery.
The two awaited any further instructions as she pulled out some bubblegum. Her mother apparently seemed to be doing a little better than what they had envisioned. They felt a little better when Elena told them that. When Elena mentioned the shops being close to the library, the two looked at one another and smiled, Alexandra being the one to speak. "Great, that takes care of more things than one. I guess we’ll see what we can find if a few of them are open for business. Is there anything we could do to help out with the rebuilding effort?“
± There was definitely more of an authority complex between the two, which more or less was sometimes a good thing. While the rebuild was going well, moments of complication came up since someone got a wrong message. Thankfully, it never really bothered her much, as long as she could avoid it. She often did ask what exactly was needed to be done and reported back immediately after; eradicating an ordeal altogether.
“Well, that’s not easy. Some have left, meaning fewer numbers to help, however, it’s not all bad. We have reduced job time for the shops, but the revenue, especially as others visit, we have enough to get supplies to continue going, as well as managing our own. And if someone gets sick, we take a break as a whole. You certainly don’t have to, but it would be appreciated. Especially with houses. Any that have left will be resold once rebuilding will be complete. Though we are a long way from that yet. Most businesses are at least back running.”
They had gotten a lot of help since the attack on and off. Certainly, they would not be as far as they already were otherwise.
