I got given Beauty and the Beast by my sister! that's not relevant, I just remembered and got really excited about it all over again. I'm going to watch it so much at uni next term. it's going to be like Ratatouille all over again, my happy place ^^
Well, the only good thing I can think of is that happened recently is today some friends and I signed up to help make a holiday turkey dinner for underprivileged children in our city. And I am very much looking forward to winter break. -Official Manager
ohhhh, that's really cool, Official Manager! do you enjoy cooking? I made myself a really big plate of pasta today. spaghetti in a cheese sauce with fried onions, spinach and garlic. it was totally one of those "throw everything I have onto the heat and let's see what comes out" but it actually ended up tasting pretty good!
I'm looking forward to winter break too, and a large reason for that is the food. every year we make these christmas biscuits that are traditional in our family, from old german recipes of my great-grandmother's. my favourites are the ones that are almond-flavoured and curled over themselves like a knot, they're delicious. most of my family prefer the diamond-shaped ones with cinnamon, cloves and cardamom in them. those ones are very good, but not as good as the almond kringel C;
