Don't mind Mandricardo staring up at ozymandias as if he was some sort of god as his knees wobble like jello and he sweats intensely. Who thought putting a 3star with a 5star was a good idea?

     WHAT IN THE WORLD was the other staring at? They were practically watching Ozymandias as if expecting him to suddenly reach out and fold them like a piece of paper -- a silly thought because that was so much effort and also because he felt little reason to so much as glare at the other Servant. Then again, Mandricardo seemed rather...anxious an individual anyway. He was always watching everyone and sweating... His hand were probably so clammy that the moment you so much as shook it, you would pull away with a thick sheen of it. ❝Ah...❞ Ozymandias paused, brows furrowing slightly, ❝...so...we are to be working together, yes? I am looking forward to those abilities of yours, so do not disappoint me.❞ Hm, okay that might have been far more intimidating than he intended. It sounded better in his head. ❝What I mean is -- do your best out there and do not die.❞

                 if anyone dared question, alex was   certain   ---                                   he'd recognize that voice, even   across   a raging battlefield.

he just couldn't   help   his disposition, could he   ?           the way he is now, he can't help but want to   chuckle   at how the rider's hands shake in his.     they are an odd pair when placed together. mandy has his calluses, yes, but alex's are a wreck   ;   thin and   lanky  ,  with all sorts of nasty bruises.     they weren't made for hard work, not anymore   ---   so he endears to them being cared for, held in mandrichardo's hands, shaking as they may have been.     ❝     ya' know, i can hardly   bite   the way i am now .     ❞     and his bark was always sorely lacking.     ❝     there, there   ...   ya' always look so cool in a fight but here ya' are trembling like a leaf   !     ❞     for that reason, he loops his fingertips through rider's   ;   hoping to ease that nervous shake.

Accidentally steps on his feet---- -proceeds to pass out from shame-

this is the first time,   truly   --- that the master is left   wondering   if this is what he himself looks like to others.           it was no secret that alexandros was low in confidence   ;   he   oozed   a certain lack of respect for himself, divulging it to others, and when he looks at mandrichardo, he feels an odd sense of   CAMARADERIE.   two low-class, unremarkable, underwhelming existences.     (     it almost feels like he's found, somehow, a matching set to his odd menagerie of broken pieces.     )     ❝     rider   .   .   .   ya' know, ya' didn't have to come all this way for me   --   ya' didn't have to   obey   my summons or become my servant .     ❞     but he did. he had faith. he had something for alex that so few others   had   ---   especially himself.     ❝     so if there's anyone that's gotta compensate for somethin', i think that would   HAVE   ta' be   me .   so   ---       ❞     he can't help but smile, restrain it as much as he does, it pushes past     ;     and in doing so, fills his lips, pressing warmth into his cheeks.

“It is considerate of you to ask. I’ve no claim on the other seat. Stretch out your legs, if you must.” Karna makes no attempt to pull their legs back just yet, confident there’s plenty of room for the other to move around them if need be.

Something about the young man’s awkwardness gave Karna a hint about his personality. It was well-intentioned most likely, though it might leave the other open to trouble later.

“Jeez, if you keep calling me ‘great Hektor’, you’ll forget who either of us are, you know? I’m just an everyday man who stood at a wall.” It really ruins his carefully crafted persona to have someone calling him great. (Or, perhaps it’s fine for him to have his ego complimented every once in a while. Just no making a habit of it!)

It’d be nice for Mandricardo to speak to him on the same level, after all. Maybe one day. For the time being, he really doesn’t have the heart to say no to such an honestly eager expression. “Sure, sure. Just don’t remind me I did it, or I’ll get embarrassed.” He’ll scribble his name on the paper, in his awkward mix of Hittite and Greek that comes out of being only half-real.
