jens is a human exobiologist, they’re not technically a starfleet officer but they do research aboard starships most of the time. theyre kind of a grumpy asshole before u get to know them, at which point they’re just soft and kind of an idiot. he is a men’s tits activist and also just a shameless self-insert.

t’laith is vulcan, she traveled around the quadrant with her parents (who, by vulcan standards, are outrageous hedonistic hippies) for most of her early life. she specializes in anthropology and is fascinated by other cultures. she finds the absolute wildest ways to interpret logic and while she doesn’t really express emotions she radiates the most chaotic energy possible. she drinks monster energy like it’s water and insists it’s fine because she’s vulcan. she n jens are BROS

yrsai is half-klingon half-bajoran and an engineer on ds9. she was raised by her father in bajor and was part of the resistance (which is pretty much where she learned engineering) and her mother is a full on klingon warrior who serves under martok during the dominion war. she’s shy and kind of standoffish but Will Not Hesitate to throw a wrench at someone who’s being an asshole

zar is a cardassian who was abandoned as a baby on bajor, he grew up on the streets and snuck onto ds9 after the occupation ended. as a character i havent rlly developed him fully but he is a Scoundrel and Certified Little Man and adopts garak as a father figure accidentally.

okay okay so. Jens would get along best with Matos (elderly bajoran commander), Matos loves grumpy people she can mess with lovingly, and they’d definitely try and get Jens to do some bajoran yoga exercises with her.

I think T’laith and Solar (Young Vulcan botanist) would have a TON of fun together, T’laith would show Solar her interpretations of Sareks teachings, and Solar would be fascinated and also a little scandalized since he was brought up Very Traditionally, but I think T’laith would get him out of his shell a little bit.

Hmmm I wanna say Matos would like Yrsai as well cuz bajorans gotta stick together, but also Adem (young half betazoid pilot) would really like Yrsai, they’d follow her around like a lil puppy and ask her to show him cool fighting moves and engineering tricks.
