#odd night

Today is an odd night!! Just somethings I didn't get to highlight in the previous post. These are notes from lectures by Imam Omar Sulieman. Hope it's readable. 😬

I had fun making this spread and finding out new things. For instance, Surah Qadr which is kind of an announcement for laylatul qadr is a gift from Allah to humanity on the behest of our Rasolalallah (SAW). Never a moment when he wasn't thinking about us 🥺🥺🥺

I hope your ibadah is accepted tonight. Ameen!

Given that I've also had the odd dream where the carpark near our house turned into a lake of blood that I promptly went swimming in, or where I've drowned someone in the white metal air vents of a flooded shopping centre, or where I've been pulling soft, sagging femurs out of a lake of acid, I'm wondering if I ought to be concerned. I'm never fussed in these dreams, is the thing. I'm never upset, I’m never scared, they're not nightmares. They're just like story dreams that took an odd turn to me. Possibly worrisome.

Day 26

A believer's heart is not attached to this world, because they know it is only a journey, not the destination. "And the life of this world is nothing but play and amusement. But far better is the home of the Hereafter for those who fear Allah." (Quran 6:32)
