Also I was afraid of him in the cartoons, the books, and any other media containing him. I remember rooting for Gargamel because I wouldn't have to see papa smurf anymore if he was killed/captured.

I wanna dress more masculine but I have koumpounophobia so it severely limits my options ;n;
Weird superstitions I've had as long as I can remember
These aren't necessarily things I entirely believe, but they are things that I catch myself thinking about out of nowhere.
Don't stay in a dark room for too long, especially with your back turned
Don't look haunted objects (specifically dolls) in the eyes or they can see you too.
Don't look into mirrors when it's dark, especially full body ones.
If someone gives you something, do not break it or it could hurt them physically somehow (losing things is fine).
Keep your windows covered at night.
Trust dogs when they dislike someone. Cats especially.
Cats can see the dead or unknown.
Pictures of people are more like a window. (ie: Posters can see you.)
Don't stay too close to the space under your bed at night when it's dark.
There's something spiritual about water, not dangerous, but definitely something.
I'll add more later, or you can add your own.
when i was younger i had like so many recurring nightmares of this guy (surf bubble monster)
he still terrifies me to this day and it’s not even funny
I want to write something that isn’t sad.
I’ve been working on a book of short horror stories and I want to post the first one. I just can’t figure out how I want to end it. I have a really hard time ending things I’m working on. Maybe I’ll just post it. No one is watching me here anyway

weird question
but does anybody else feel REALLY unnerved by paintings of Jesus? specifically the ones where he’s just staring out at you with a blank expression?
it just makes me feel so… on edge? uncomfortable?
there’s a few that really capture what i mean, but specifically the painting known as the “Sinai Icon” (of Christ) — also surprisingly the most mysterious image regarding him
i just find it so eerie the way it looks like he’s STARING INTO YOU. but it’s always been an odd fear of mine — staring at paintings of Jesus (even glass panels sometimes)
HI ITS WEIRD CONFESSION TIME

I am someone who gets spooked when I see the moon near the horizon, or any colour other than blanco, or if it looks slightly larger than normal. Or if I see it in detail with a telescope or something. Like, an instinctual override to get the fuck inside. I think the same thing with other celestial objects like mars now that I think about it, if I could just like, see them like I can the moon at night. I've been doing a good job at not letting it do that recently though.
