II saw your art about Skali before her wedding and thought about Revali watching her from Vah Medoh and crying because he is so happy. Tell me your headcanons about the wedding of Skali ^^
[A/N: When I drew the picture, it was from a comic when Skali and my Gerudo oc, Bala, got married. So I’ll give headcanons of them two since I didn’t know if you meant reader x Skali!]
Skali’s wedding day
The location of the wedding is near Mijah Rokee Shrine, perfectly between both their homes
Her wedding is small and intimate, choosing her closest friends to attend.
She wants it colorful, and elegant knowing Revali would want nothing less
Also Bala’s culture celebrates with colors and loud music
Skali chooses the most extravagant thing being her wedding dress, everything is simplistic but still well within the tastes of Gerudos
The dress was made by the Ritos and her wedding theme was done by the Gerudos
Bala has a lot of sisters and her sisters groom Skali up for the big day
Which makes Bala anxious what her sisters are gossiping, but Skali finds it enjoyable the sisters are fawning over her like this.
Bala is not allowed to see Skali’s dress until the day of the ceremony. Skali wanted to surprise her.
The feathers on her headdress are from her friend, Urijah. Part of something new (but also old)
Urijah gives Skali away and stands to the side as her best man.
Bala is at the altar trying not to cry and appears tough
But Bala begins to silently cry while Skali gives her vows
Skali is the happiest thing on the planet and hopes her father got to witness her life changing event
Skali sings for her speech, Bala loses it and is a blubbering mess and smothers her new wife is kisses
Revali is proud his daughter found love and friends after the demise of everyone.
He blubbers ‘cause he saw her and she was the most precious thing he ever saw
