Bio: while Captain rank their unique clairvoyance and abilities to speak to those lost designated them to more of a prophet/seer role in their house this Captain is more then capable of fending for himself.
The house of loss was a small pacifistic house that logged and tracked the time in-between the life and death of the Eliksni that were lucky enough to make it to Sol, deeming those lost to Riis ascended.
It is rumored that what remained of the already dwindling numbers of this house were decimated in an indirect confrontation between a fireteam and another aggressive house, however this truth has been long buried and whether this was truly an accident or pointless slaughter remains within the unsettled mind of Val'lixis alone.
Risen as a scorn for an undocumented amount of time before purification this sole survivor struggles to survive outside of the seclusion of their once small world, and yet they recount their time amongst the dead almost fondlyβ¦
They are affected with a rabid impulse to ingest Ichor tainted ether resulting in several 'violent accidents' resulting in their nomad/loner status after rejection from many ketches.
They have resigned themselves to the life of a bounty hunter to make ends meet ..but the cry of those left behind still calls to them.
Temperament: They are surprisingly soft spoken and intelligent, clever however their Impatience and intolerance of company often gives mixed signal to those around them, they are often anxious and often jumpy, prone to the dark impulses to pillage battlefields for whispering bones to arrange..
They are technically leadership worthy but seek out those worthy to be a leader instead, they have a cult mentality and will easily fall prey to follower status.
Trivia: they have an aversion to gaurdians but seem very intrigued by Ikroa and her shadows.
They are surprisingly polite. They stash bones and waste hours sorting them, the ahamkara bones may be the root of what's fueling their mania episodes, they are obsessed with paranormal investigators and assume they can all talk to ghosts, despite their thrust for either they don't actually need it, they are lonely. They are perpetually mourning.

Whew this bab is done, halfway through I almost went with a war beast design but no I'm sticking with the vampire theme so we get bonus PI alternate outfit (too much Anita black) anyways I had fun with him! And I hope folks like him!
