"How do you feel about flesh craft, Biological engineering, and more crucial the merge of Biological and mechanical?" @goddessinthemachine
Brilliant, icy eyes peered over at the woman as a cloud of smoke slowly drifted from the edges of his lips. It wasn’t a habit, nor did the tobacco do anything for him, he simply enjoyed the look of how the smoke swirled and hovered in the air before dissipating into nothing. His response wasn’t immediate, allowing silence to cling to the air between them, not unlike the smoke. The curious and intense gaze studied her, trailing over her form not in a lewd manner, but in a way to obtain as much information as possible before formulating a response.
She was different, much like himself.
Finally he spoke in a dulcet baritone after pulling the cigarette away from plush lips, “It is not my area of expertise, but my brother is brilliant in combining the two. His work is enchanting, some such as myself may even say it’s beautiful, like living art.” With the way he spoke of this other man and his work, it was obvious that The Construct held a great respect towards him.
He traced the end of his cigarette along his bottom lip, never once breaking eye contact with her. His deliberate blinks came few and far between, it wasn’t a needed action like the smoking, just something that made him seem more alive. In fact, many of his conscious actions were meant to make him appear more alive, yet the way he carried them out was in direct juxtaposition of one another.
“Why do you ask?”
