So weird. I met C-137 once, and it wasn't really—anything. We barely talked, I was just shouting at Dawn for using my transmitter and getting herself in trouble with it and he was, kind of technically there I suppose? To think he might've been my grandpa if I wasn't already gone by the time he got there.- Mortimer
Update: Holy fuck a lot has happened. Dawn (@militiamortys for now, she might pick out a new url later), Mortimer and I are all okay and safe. Chauncey didn't make it. I guess his fears about what would happen if he helped us were justified. I probably judged him too harshly. Bo is okay, as far as I know, but he is no longer living with us, and he has a separate blog now @streetcatrick
Dawn made it out of the militia, thanks to the help of Skittle and Chauncey. Words cannot capture how grateful I am to both of them or how happy I am to see her again.
Dawn, Mortimer and I are going to be traveling for a bit. We're absolutely stopping by to visit Dawn and Mortimer's families, but it would be a lot to expect them to take in three traumatized teenagers. We're all on the same page that we want to stay together now that we're able to.
I just want to thank Skittle again for all of his help. I don't think we could've done this without her, and it means everything to us.
I'm sorry, Chauncey. Thank you.- Autumn
[@msc137]
Backpack having been hung heavy on her shoulders, Skittle carefully types in the coordinates. Takes a deep breath, shoots the portal, and steps through.
Mortytown is about what she expected. Dark, dingy. She'd never been before now.
A few steps up to the door of the unnassuming building, she raises a fist, and knocks twice.
Autumn opens the door. He is visibly tired, but he smiles slightly when he sees Skittle. The yellow chrysanthemum in his hair sticks out against the dingy surroundings. Behind him, Bo and Mortimer are having a loud discussion. "Welcome," Autumn said. "Sorry we couldn't meet in... better circumstances."
He steps back to reveal a room a few feet bigger than Rick's garage. It has three blankets on the floor, a lab/storage area, two fridges, a hottop, and a door.
Bo looks away from Mortimer for a moment and smiles sadly. "Hey kiddo. Got any ideas? I think we're fresh out of workable ones. Sorry for the lack of pleasantries, but time is everything."
