Michael (the archangel): *looks annoyed* Kid, I get it. You wanna “make a change” because Father knows there definitely needs to be several, but lots of these fuckers are down here for serious shit. Ya know, like murder. Like assault.

Abel: Michael please just listen to me—

Michael: Do you think r*pists should be redeemed?

Abel: *pauses, completely not explaining that*

Michael: Or human traffickers?

Abel: I—

Michael: Child abusers? Should they be redeemed?

Abel: Not everyone in Hell are those things! Many are down here because they simply were passive or maybe they had a good reason to do things—

Michael: Should Cain be redeemed?

Abel: *freezes with a flash of trauma in his head, but he takes a deep breathe* I forgave Cain for that centuries ago.

Michael: You might have forgiven your assailant, but what about those in Heaven? Those who were innocent victims? Should they have to relive the trauma of seeing there attackers in the one place they were guaranteed to be away from them? Away from the pain? *stands up and walks across the table, getting close to Abel’s face* Why did you get a say in who gets into Heaven when even you are not as pure as you try to let on, are you?

Abel: *starts to tremble* I’m not perfect… no human is.

Michael: Despite having a soul, you’re not human anymore. You, like everyone else in Heaven, have a record of your earthly deeds. *straightens up* and I’ll admit I was surprised at first when I saw that you didn’t ascend to Heaven. You were a good human. You loved animals, cared for your parents and brother… but then… you—

Abel: *stands up* I WAS A KID! I DIDN’T KNOW!

Michael: *scoffs and chuckles* it doesn’t matter anymore. The universe clearly knows how to keep balance and you were deemed to be damned down here, with the rest of your family.

Abel: *sits down and looks defeated*

Michael: *walks back around, summoning a portal back to Heaven* After this year’s exterminations, there will be some changes.

Abel: *looks hopeful*

Michael: Hell is filling with More souls every single day. Clearly one year cleansings are not enough anymore. Instead, it’ll be six months.

Abel: *devastated but shouts* What?!

Michael: Six months. It has been decided. *he turns, about to leave, but then turns around with an evil smirk* And tell Helel I said “hi.”
